Quit your crying and snitching already. This isn't even your thread. The thread is titled, "Let's have a discussion about the Pac-10". You keep cutting and pasting your tidbits. The truth hurts sometimes.

My skin is thicker than you think it is. The only thing that pains me is the same old same old from all the spamming you do in threads. You are turning a Pac-10 discussion about the teams, the schedules, the players into another flame the Pac-10 opportunity AGAIN and hiding your rant behind the topic. It's not a discussion, you are not even being specific or informative about anything. What is relevant about any of this? You bring nothing new to the table. It's your rant and everyone's heard it over and over many times.

Can't you see how it ruins threads? Post some facts, data, cut and paste a source of relevant information that will help people understand the teams in ways that are informative. Don't use every mention of USC as a cue for you to go off again with yet another generic flame about "Bozo" for the 150th time. At least say something you haven't said before. Otherwise, it's called spamming threads and that is another non-netiquette. For someone who worships rules the way you do, you don't believe in following them too often yourself do you? It's gynecologist's thread, true but it won't be what he intended it to be if you continue spamming and ranting and call that a discussion and end up hijacking it the way you've done too many times. People around here get suspended for doing that.

Please take a hint this time before another 8 people click on that triangle ( ) and report it. You know what will happen if you don't.

I really don't like dealing with this crap and I don't want to sound like a threat either. I'd rather forget about it right here and let the normal course of discussion proceed. I speak for more than just myself and I swear that's all I want. So I ask you, please don't ruin this thread.

You're the only one crying about what I post. I didn't speak rudely or "bash" any other poster. I stated my opinions in a thread discussing the Pac-10. Gyno, didn't say let's have a Pac-10 circlejerk and discuss how wonderful it is. You don't see him crying about what I post. You cut and paste your "facts". I post my opinions. If you don't like them, go ahead and cry to the moderators about it as you do. If that gets me suspended, so be it. I won't lose any sleep over it. I love how you always threaten me. You are the guy who talks real loud so everyone will know you are in a confrontation. I can't stand that guy. Stop threatening people and encouraging others to partake in your little snitching acts. I didn't break any rules here or ruin anyone's thread. Better yet, just keep my name out of your mouth

Look I really don't give a crap whether or not you hate PC or if you want to suck his cigar. That's not the point. You've had your say. I would rather see it end before others start in too. Then what do we have? Certainly not a discussion about the conference anymore, only your personal agenda. Everyone knows where you stand. I have no problem with it but just don't keep on with it and hijack yet another thread with your obsessive rants. It ruins threads. That is not acceptable to me, to other posters and to the owners of this site. It's time to put down the bottle and sleep it off if that's what is happening. Goodnight.

This coming from the guy who felt the need to post 10 times in about a 2-day span in my thread. I truly don't give a crap what you think. You have your own personal agenda. The only one bitching and snitching is YOU! If my opinions were praising your beloved Pac-10 you would have nothing to say.

night terrors......why do you have ucla so low?

Still some big questions about their offense if he's thinking what I am. I'm thinking that if they can average 3TD's and a FG per game, they will be very hard to beat. They are very close to being a very good team. They will lay waste to the Irish in the Rose Bowl sometime mid-season. Aside from that, consistency is my other big question about them. Getting that offense off the ground is behind everything they can accomplish this year and if it starts hitting consistently, they may even beat out Cal in the standings. I am optimistic because Olson is due. Aside from that, I have little to stand on at this point, but they do have the horses at the skill positions.

Oregon State

I've been doing a little reading up on Sean Canfield and Lyle Moevao who are the 2 young QB hopefuls for the Beavers, one of whom will start this year (most likely Canfield.)

Both are ideal size for the position but neither has distanced himself from the other in terms of performance thus far through spring practice, but Canfield has an edge, not decidedly but almost (good enough to be atop the depth chart.) Canfield also has game experience having mopped up in 8 games for the Beavers (I didn't know there was that much mopping to do) and putting up reasonable numbers playing behind Matt Moore. He's basically just a bright kid from San Diego who seems to catch on to things... I like that quality and he's also looked pretty cool and unflappable in the spring (hopefully ready,) albeit a bit inexperienced in making critical game decisions. He did end up with a 130 QB rating for his part last year and that's not too bad.

But there are 2 more things he's got going for him that could amount to a lot when/if he finds his groove.

#1, His arm strength is being compared to Derek Anderson. He does sport himself a cannon.
#2, He is more mobile in (and out of) the pocket than Matt Moore, who was sacked 37 times (I think) last season, not all of which were due to poor protection. (It was his indecisiveness when he wasn't forcing throws and his lack of mobility.) In any event, Canfield is quicker and he is definitely more mobile.... he has good size for his position too. (6-4, 225)

I mention this because QB is by far the biggest question about the Beavers this year. Aside from that, I believe they will be better than last year both offensively (eventually) and defensively. Their running game will be better than it was with Yvenson Bernard (1307 yds last season) back for his senior year behind an offensive line (among the best in the USA) that returns 4/5. They have a redshirt freshman Brady Camp that's been pushing the returning players at the TE position pretty hard this spring. That's good news for the Beavers who no longer have Joe Newton to rely on in a pinch anymore.

Their biggest loss on defense was FS Sabby Piscitelli but in comes new CB David Ross who was recruited by Nebraska, USC and also Mike Stoops at Arizona. Their DBs were greatly improved last year over '05 and aside from Piscitelli, all are back for more. At LB they rate with USC, Cal, and they are better than Zona and UCLA's trio of LBs and that's saying something. I don't see many teams running on the Beavers with much success. Even though they also lost DL Ben Siegert, their defensive line was 3rd in the country in sacks. This is significant because the ability to put pressure on opposing QB's is the mark of a good defense and they return the nucleus of their front 7 almost in tact.

I give Canfield a pretty good chance to make good and contribute his part to the team because aside from his athletic ability, he has better focus and seems a lot more composed than I remember Matt Moore to be during most of his career which included 2 years at UCLA and 2 at Oregon State.
