I believe threads like this is the reason they started daytime baseball games.

By the way, you guys have it all wrong. Gilligan was always screwing up everything because he didnt want to leave. He was getting all the action. He knew that as a nerd the only chance to had was to get rid of the competition. He set up the 3 hour tour with the chicks he wanted. Intentionally went into the storm, even plotted out the desserted island beforehand. He knew the Skipper, Professor and Mr Howell were no threat and he could have Maryanne and Ginger all to himself. The reason he was on the bottom bunk was for late night booty calls.

:thumbsup2:
I must admit this theory makes as much sense as any, provided that we give Gilligan credit for being smart enough to hatch such a scheme.

By the way, Capn Crunch, grammatically speaking, yours is the best-contructed thread title I've seen in awhile. I appreciate the effort. :suomi:

No, no, tp that is all wrong. Gilligan was a teenage runaway, like the kind you see plastered at a Walmart exit. He showed up with all of his belongings at the dock one day, wanting to be a sailor. But his idea of a sailor was the Village People In The Navy type. The skipper, predator that he was swooped on poor Gilligan, and made him a cabin boy, not to be confused with the lame movie. They get a booking for a 3 hour cruise. The Howell's, the professor and MaryAnn, and Ginger. The Howells and professor and MaryAnn walk the railing, leaving Ginger the high priced hooker alone with Gilligan. Looking for a free trip Ginger sits next to Gilligan, starts rubbing his inner thigh, well how bout it Sailor? Gilligan thinks, hey thats me! Soon Gilligan is getting a freebie from Ging. Oh no, the skipper walks in on them, and out of a jealous lover's rage, steers the ship into the storm. Once he gets to the island, the skipper sets up shop. First, needs Gilligan available esay at night. The homo hut, he is on the bottom. I noticed what appeared to be grass tie downs on some episodes. Also that Gilligan dream as Jack and the Beanstalk, where skipper is the giant chasing a boy dressed like Gilligan, had me wondering a lot of sexual orientation questions. So after setting up his little sex slave he cons Mr. Howell into having his wife start Save the Coconuts, even though they are falling on their heads daily. She is such a ditz she buys it. Now skipper has gotten control of Ginger, and he pimps her out to Thurston. By the time they leave the island, all of his portable cash he sleeps and dreams about is in the skipper's hands. Ging gets her cut. The professor is like Brain on Escape from New York. MaryAnn is his squeeze instead of big boobed Maggie. He has total control of the island, thwarts all legit rescue attempts blaming it all on Gilligan. I thought that was it?

The old acorn and the squirrel, trust me - but Thank You Sir. P.S. You're amazing Froggie! I loved your synopsis but think the Skipper was just too nice for your scenario. Did they ever reveal his name on the show? I don't think so.

He had the others intimidated, just call me the skipper, not wanting to reveal his true identity. Trust me, it was all a nice guy act. Who was ultimately responsible to take a 3 hour cruise into bad weather? They never showed him pimping Ginger but it was pretty evident between the lines. No way a man with Thurston's cake is going to be doing old bag Lovie. They never showed the Gilligan bondage or spooning scenes either, as the 60's was not ready for that. Who suspected Mr. Brady or Darren Stevens of being homos? Who woulda thunk? It will all comeout on the deleted episodes we would like to see dvd.

I would have rather done MaryAnn than Ginger but I was just wondering who was doing whom. Anybody else ever wonder about this? If this is improper, I'm sorry - if not, let's hear it!

Are we talking about the piece of shit reality show, or the old school series? If it's the latter, i'd much rather do Mary Ann.

Darren #1 or Darren #2? Maybe he was doing Samantha's Uncle - Paul Lynne(sp)? You have to admit, that was one funny queer!:toast: I'm glad to see IBM's loss has been the Rx'es gain!

I believe only in the 1st episode, it was Jonas Grumby. Jonas being a take on Jonah, who fell overboard and was swallowed by a whale.

Makes perfect sense. Skipper was in trouble with the law from his drug-running and white slavery escapades so he was looking to disappear until the heat was off his trail. Gilligan, the runaway, didn't want to hassle with his abusive parents so he was OK to be away from society for quite some time.

Mr. Howell, the rich man with the sour puss wife, fell in love with movie star Ginger. He worked it out with the Skipper (the pimp) to arrange the tour to look like an accident so he could have Ginger all to himself. He had morality issues against divorcing or murdering "Lovey" so this was the perfect way to reconcile his love for Ginger.

Haven't figured out Mary Ann or the Professor yet.

Darren #2. York was straight, Sargeant was in the closet with Mr. Brady. I think Paul Lynn was going from center square to corner square to hide under Wally Cox's desk. Maybe they took turns. The last thing you would hear on the Brady set was Mr. Brady's a Peter pumper. Forget all the meatgazers, Herman Munster was the man.
