When they say carriers use VZ towers that is true, but...

Many carriers share towers. The little guys use the big boy towers exclusively. Think of it as them leasing bandwith. The problems u run into is The owner of the towers get first priority, then the next highest payer get next priority and so on.

So if you are in a conjested area VZ customers call, text and data go through first, then say straight talk, then say cricket.

Not to get to nerdy but it also has to do with high speed internet in your area. Towers on have a range of a few miles, one a tower gets you data it is then tranfered to local HSI providers. T-mo for exapmle is a huge customer of comcast in my area. So all that TMo data flows via comcast.

if Tmo has a strong signal in your area they are the way to go. better options, better service for less money. I'm close to a city so all coverage areas are great ... it's when you get 20+ miles away from heavy population that the services change. if that's your case then you're way better off asking a neighbor than us
