in college, a geeky friend bought some "bad company" CD's, not the classic stuff with paul rodgers, but the brian howe stuff. I laughed at him for not knowing paul rodgers, but before I knew what was happening, I was hooked on the brian howe crap that sounded like foreigner that he kept playing all the time. I secretly bought it myself and had to explain to normal people who the hell it was and try to convince them it was good shit. listened to it again recently and I can't believe I got sucked in way back when. jesus !

I do like Foreigner though man..And I openly will admit it..One of my top 5 all time dude..

The SheBar and I got a hotel room in NYC that was 714 and she's like, "Yeah! Ludes!"

I didn't get the connection since I didn't recall my few dabblings with same back in (yep) 1979-1980 being with pills that had 714 on them.

Damn unreliable street drugs!


Though whatever I got did lead me to make one of the longest 3am Lude-calls ever to an old girlfriend pleading for her to take me back.

Oh wait...It was the same chick I took to the Bread concert four years earlier and we hadn't even seen each other in over a year.

Her mom picked up on the extension and somewhere in the middle of, "I love you so much....Man, these Ludes are really making the room spin...." she forced the disconnect.
