The more sauce they put on it makes it hard to get the crust crispy. Most people like crispy crust.

But if you said ex sauce I would give it to you.:pucking: lol

We have a Pizza joint that you would just love. Its thick crust and lots of flavorful sauce. Oddly there is just barely a layer of provolone cheese. Everyone wants more cheese and no matter whether you order extra cheese or double cheese or even when frustrated triple cheese, it comes the exact same way: Barely any cheese. Its damn good but it pisses me of that they will charge like 3-4 dollars more for nothing and laugh at you when you say I ordered extra cheese.

That's crazy. Half the time I order I have to request light sauce as they pile it on til no end. Did you know that the Italians invented pizza? In Italy, they put cheese on the pizza and then the sauce. In America, they put the sauce on and then the cheese. I finally found a place by me that does cheese first sauce second, but they charge outrageous prices. One small pizza is like 20 bucks, but its huge and even a big eater like me can only handle 2 slices per sitting, if that. These pizzas are that huge, thick as hell too. Tastes so good though.

Do you order from restaurants or pizza parlors/commercial chains? What did you get on it toppings wise?

Italians did NOT invent the pizza. Go do some research.

Hey J-MAN

I talked to the owner of this restaurant by my pad that I know and he
told me the reason why they dont put alot of sauce is because cheap
dough can't handle alot of sauce.

I don't know...

i always have to tell the pizza restaurants to cook the thing

as its tends to show up sloppy and falling off the pie (the toppings)

funnily enough ordered papa johns last time with bread sticks and chicken fingers and it was excellent

That's why I cook the dough first with a little olive oil, garlic powder, dried basil and oregano, and some parm cheese....for just a few minutes, then throw on the rest of the ingredients.

Don't like a lotta sauce myself. I prefer lots of chopped tomatoes with some cheese, bacon, and mushrooms...man I'm getting hungry.

Since we are talking about italian food. Does anyone else, when you are eating spaghetti, put a little in some buttered or garlic bread and kinda fold it over making a little spaghetti sandwhich? Well, I always did growing up, so I called a local pizza place and asked them if they could throw some of their spaghetti and meatballs inside a calzone along with some cheese. They laughed but did it anyway.

Lady gets to my door, and says she thought it was odd, so she called her husband to tell him about it. He had her bring him one home too.

It was fantastic!!!

Spent 18 bucks for a deep dish at Domino's...18 bucks!

Done with fast food...that is ridiculous.
