you also have to keep in mind that it is an adult who is IMing these pervs and convincing them to come over for sex. Even though the adult says she is 14 she really isn't. I mean lets face it they are dangling the apple to starving men. It's easy for us viewers to cast stones at those individuals looking for some quick sex but I am pretty sure 90% of the people here at the RX would waver back and forth if some hot 15 year old showed up at your doorstep willing to offer you no questions asked sex. Obviously it's creepy when the kid is below a certain age and the guy is above a certain age, but lets be rational here. The first kid on that show was like a 22 year old indian (dot not feather) college kid! The poor guy was as quiet as a church mouse, probably a computer programmer who has never gotten any play in his life, so he was trying to get a little tug from a 15 year old girl. Is 7 years difference is really a big deal? Emotionally she would have been way more mature and experienced than him. He probably would have treated her like gold.
My point is, that the guys they catch on the show aren't "predators". They're not trying to lure these girls in with puppies and lollipops. Sure, the adult has to abide by the law, but the horny girls who are asking for sex are just as much at fault.
You're right, I'm 26 and married, but don't have any kids. I just think the whole show is targeted at the least dangerous type of criminal. There is no violation of trust (family member, pastor, teacher), it's not forced, and they aren't going after pre-pubescent kids. Personally, those are the guys I want off the street.
You know how 100% of all of those "crimes" could have been prevented? By the whore not asking the guy to come over for sex. The problem here is the PARENTS. Teach your girl to dress and act appropriately, AND have the brains to keep out of situations like this, and you'll have a lot less to worry about.
As a side note, the one place where Europeans have us Americans beat is that they are much more rational and open when it comes topics of sexuality.
