Wow, that is nuts Max. Good for you though, major props and I am sure it was well worth it. My wife just (2 days ago) had our second. I can't understand how people can just walk away from their kids. My daughter is everything to me and I am sure I will feel the same about my son. Just unbelievable.

Nope...when she 1st got pregnant she was using drugs. She didnt want to help herself so I had her commited to Rusk state hospital in Texas. After she had the baby(probably 3 months after) she was back to dancing and partying. I threatened to leave her and take the child...so one night she tells me shes going to see her dad for a few minutes w/ my daughter and she never came back. She moved to San Antonio...she would call me every couple of days saying that she missed me. After 6 months I finally convinced her to bring the kid for a visit at my parents house. She came w/ the kid and I told lets go get something to eat. I drove about 1 mile and told her to get out of my car and served her divorce papers. In Texas possesion is 9/10ths of the Law. She called the police and they said they couldnt do anything since I am the father and that she would have to fight me in court. She never showed up for the hearings and has called only 3 times in 18 years asking about her daughter.

Way to do whatever it takes to essentially save your daughter's life. That's awesome. It's unfortunate that all parents don't possess the same amount of love, caring, and dedication to their children.

Believe me or not my friend, in the country I am from they choose a wife for me and we dont meet one another for the first time until ceremony.
