Best concert I've seen was Metallica (Justice Tour) with The Cult opening. Neil Young/Pretenders was a great show, as was Rush/Dream Theater.

Late add - Def Leppard (drummer had both arms then), with Iron Maiden.

Red Hot Chile Peppers at the I Beam in the Haight Distric San Francisco.

Was just starting to date this one chick who was a concert buff or whatever.

Took her to the I Beam to see the Chile Peppers who were not well known yet and she thought she had the wildest time of her life.

Full body paint,though they were wearing pants(not socks on a dick) vulgar profanity,slam dancing and a club full of freaks.

We were not together when the band got big but I bet she talks about that night to this day.

Unfortunatly the I Beam burned down,sucks because I got in all those shows for free as my best man was SFPD and the Haight was his first beat.

Oh yeah and after the show she got to drive around in a police car.

DO a lot of E and go see Deep Dish or Sasha and Digweed or, if you want a real "concert", best one I saw was Tribe Called Quest open for Beastie Boys at LA Forum back in like 98. Beastie Boys ripped shop all night.

Favorite Concert: Lollapallooza '94 Smashing Pumpkins when they were sick, Beasties, Tribe, Black Crowes, Green Day, George Clinton w/ P-Funk and more

Springsteen in '85 was one of my first concerts ever and I've seen him over a dozen times since.

I saw Roger Waters at MSG in the fall and Gilmour at Radio City was much better in my opinion. Glad you like it though, Vegas is a great place to see a concert, so much fun stuff afterwards-

Disappointed that I couldnt make this show, i figured it would be great at a small venue. THe Floyd peaked on Dark Side and every else paled in comparison. They got stuck on the wish you were here guilt trip theme.
