The first 30 min started off very slow...I was thinking, geez, this episode is boring but then when the big reveal that Jack's brother was the man behind the scenes with former Prez Logan last season, I was stunned. The action then seemed to pick back up over the last 20 min or so. Next episode looks great too!

ya jacks brother was the guy that last years president would talk to on the phone about what was going on...i remember when jacks brother said to him "you know what you have to do" aka committ suicide bc they had that tape on him...as it turned out the guy from ctu erased it and the president thought he was in the clear again...

i was pleased with last nights episode but i just dont think its necessary to try to go overboard with all these relationships...bringing jacks father AND brother into it...just seems like a million-1 shot...there's enough suspence in the plots alone, to keep people glued in wondering how they are gonna stop it...no need to go so far overboard....once in a while its cool (like last year when the gas was released in ctu and that edgar guy died)....but this year its like they are trying too hard to be over the top....bring in jacks dad and his bro and him killing curtis which i still felt was RETARDED....

anyways thats just my opinion coming from someone who watches every show every week religiously....

prison break was good last night.....

And what about Jack's nephew?? Looks more like Jack then Mr. Bluetooth bad guy. I bet he is going to turn out to be Jack's son.

bring back Jack's daughter. Why does every female who comes on to the show have to be a previous lover of Jack's?

24 is the greatest show ever, I like all of the twist and turns that each episode takes. Jack's family being involved makes it even more interesting. I would like to see good ol Kim Bauer come back for a few episodes.

24 = best show on TV

Went with 24 last night.
The willing suspension of disbelief is getting kind of tough.

You're telling me Jack's BROTHER is one of the main bad guys now, and Jack's DAD is involved?

Give me a freaking break, in 2 episodes we're going to find out that Fayeed or whatever the main terrorist's name is, he's actually Jack's brother-in-law.

I still love the show though, but they need to be a TAD more realistic.
Heroes was tivo'd and will be watched tonight.

I was thinking the same thing, sounded like Jack used to bang his sister and law, his brother will probably put the kid in danger at some point.

Kiefer's retirement doesn't last long once he gets an eyeful of that mushroom cloud hanging over Valencia. Wayne and his staff relocate below ground to the completely renovated Undal Office, where he battles to rein in his people's basest political impulses while preparing to deliver a live speech. And Walid officially goes undercover, agreeing to wear a wire so that the Feds can listen in while he sucks up to the real terrorists inside the detention facility. Assad arrives at CTU to help trace the remaining four nukes (which are riding around in the back of Fayed's red van while Fayed frantically tries to find himself a new Numair), and supplies one clue. The name Assad gives leads CTU to a batch of other names, including one Phillip Bauer, Kiefer's father. (It's not going to be Donald Sutherland, so don't get all excited.) Kiefer hasn't talked to Philip in nine years, but what better reason to reopen communications is there than questioning Dad about his indirect connections to a nuclear terrorist? Alas, Dad's incommunicado for now, which means Kiefer has to settle for a talk with his brother Graham. I'll say that again: Kiefer's. Brother. Graham. The same Graham who was secretly plotting with President Logan last season. Is Kiefer's brother. Just take a moment to put your brain back in your head. Okay? Good. Amid any number of subtle allusions to some history between Kiefer and Graham's hot wife, the Bauer brothers are reunited. And it doesn't feel so good for Graham, especially when Kiefer starts torturing him for information about their dad. Graham! Is Kiefer's brother!

Day 6: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
<!-- EPISODE INFO TABLE START -->
<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top align=left width="100%"> | Season 6 | Episode 6 | Aired on 2007.01.29 </TD><TD vAlign=top noWrap align=right> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><!-- EPISODE INFO TABLE END --><HR width="100%" color=#999999 noShade SIZE=1>Six minutes of breathing through a plastic bag leaves Kiefer's brother Graem (apparently I've been spelling it wrong all along) feeling more cooperative. He confesses that the family business was supposed to dismantle some suitcase nukes, but then McCarthy -- hired by Graem -- stole them and sold them to Fayed, and you know what happened to at least one of them after that. Tom blackmails Karen into quitting so that he can continue making America less America-like (which includes implementing charming measures like racial profiling of government operatives like our own Nadia), but I'm sure we'll see Karen again when she arrives back at CTU's L.A. office. Walid is tasked with stealing a smuggled cell phone off one of his fellow detainees and uploading the contents to CTU. The data enables Chloe to determine that the men aren't terrorists at all. They are, however, pissed when they bust Walid, and they give him a righteous beatdown. Graem leads Kiefer to McCarthy's office, but we already know McCarthy isn't there, since he's driving around, arguing with his girlfriend, and looking for someone who can help Fayed to activate his remaining nukes. But you know who is at McCarthy's office? Kiefer's dad (played by James Cromwell, not Donald Sutherland), along with a couple of his company's private security guys. Dad's been trying to handle this on his own to keep Graem out of trouble, but when he agrees to let Kiefer bring in CTU, Graem turns the tables, and Kiefer and his dad end up as his men's captives. This is not going to turn out well for Graem.

Looks like Jack was well fed in that Chinese prison.

I thought last Mondays episode was one least interesting 24 episode ever.

pretty lame including jack's family. unless Kim is in this season, then it is okay.

How does is Graem. Jack bites a dude's jugular out and yet he's going to leave him with 1-2 guys and his father? Clearly he's getting away.
