If Oscar had a say, he should have continued on. You don't quit in the corner, at least get knocked out!

exactly. they probably quit it regardless of what he says but he should have been pleading for another round and then get out there and let his hands fly.

i am not saying it is not smart to stop it. i am saying any fighter who is still in this for the glory of winning and being on top argues to continue on.

DLH is just cashing a check. Fuck me, I will take that beating for that check.

But I will admit why I did it, and I would be a bitch for it.

But he had no chance and he knew it. None. He could have easily dove anytime in the previous 3 rounds. It was pretty obvious he was had by the 5th but he went on. It was getting silly. What's the point. I sort of felt Pac backed off a few times out of respect when he could have killed him.

When a warrior like Antonio was begging to fight him and was in his own
weight class why did Oscar choose to fight Manny a guy who started his career at 106, the obvious answer was that oscar realized he was thru but still had enough to probably beat a much smaller man.

After his performance obviously Oscar made the right decision, imagine him at this stage of his career in the ring with the Tijuana Tornado.

He never answered when Nacho said I'll give you one more round. He was looking for a way out. I lost my ass but props to Manny Pac. He brought the fight to De La Hoya and the bookmakers had this one pegged right.
-200 should have been suspect form the jump with the mismatch on paper.
