Why can't Kobe play the whole game?

Do starting pitchers sit out a few innings? Starting QB's a few series? Central Mid Fielder for any European Championship caliber team sit out here and there? Nadal or Federer take one set off? Fuck dudes! Kobe should be able to go every minute of the NBA Finals.
