They're not terrorists, they harmed no one, said they wanted no one hurt. At the worst they were trespassers and guilty of disorderly conduct, but getting shot with no weapon in his hand is murder. To compare them to the shooters in San Bernardino, who were killed in a firefight with police, is like comparing a ditch you dug in your backyard this morning to the Grand Canyon.

The took over an abandoned building in the middle of nowhere specifically so no one could be hurt. From the time he put his hands down to the time he was on the ground was about 5 seconds, more than enough time to get a gun if he wanted it. Where is the proof that they even knew he had a gun?
If they truly wanted "no one to be hurt", they wouldn't have had any, nor bragged about their guns. When LEO's tells a sick, gun nut militia terrorist to keep his hands up and he disobeys, and reaches for his pocket/waistband, he kills himself. Add to the fact that this terrorist had been on TV saying he wasn't going to jail, and was shown with a gun on his lap. Add to the fact that this sick terrorist had been with the Cliven Bundy Terrorists in 2014, and it was a pretty safe bet that the LEO's were aware he had a gun on his person, and when he reached for it, he was thankfully shot.
They didn't hurt anyone with their guns, and they easily could have if that was their goals. You don't have proof that he was told to keep his hands up or that the FBI knew his exact identity. They weren't sure he had a gun, let alone where it was on him. He easily could have left a gun in the car.
