Gil, I couldn't agree with you more. And for everyone else, do not be fooled by what Christy Martin is trying to sell the public. The only thing she is trying to sell is the fight so that she can make more money, as I am certain that there is pay-per-view upside in this matchup for her. This is unprecedented for womens boxing that they have a pay-per-view at $29.95 per household.
Note: The only way Martin wins, is if Ali throws the fight to set up a rematch, which means more pay-per-view dollars for both fighters. The only reason I throw this in is because this will be the biggest payday ever for both fighters and there really is no other female fighter that would create similar interest to merit a pay-per-view @ $29.95.
