wow, powerful stuff there lander...

Sad, considering what a great, loving place Iraq had been up until now, huh?

ANFAL CAMPAIGN

The Government of Iraq carried out a genocidal campaign against the Kurds during 1988, near the end of the Iraq-Iran War. It was conducted under the codename “Anfal.” The Anfal was a campaign carried out in several stages primarily between February and September 1988 and was to be the Iraqi government’s permanent solution to the Kurdish problem.

Trying to have ANY sort of intelligent discourse w/these two imbeciles is an exercise in futility. They just spew the same RW bullshit they hear everyday from Limbaugh, O`Riley etc. Neither one has an original thought of their own. Nor do they have the stones to take an objective look at this administration`s failed policies in practicly every area. BTW how`s that forcast of Iraqi defections going? Or Cheney`s failed and bogus charges re. energy gouging in CA? We don`t hear any "Liberal Media" outcry, due the pathalogical secrecy imposed by this administration. Everything that is supposed to be available to the public is kept under a veil of silence. This is "Tricky Dick" redux! Cheney makes Erlichman & Haldeman look like choir boys.

I love my country but fear my government.

I don't speak for others, just myself - war is hell. You will surely find pictures like this, though I doubt you will see such pictures (unless Uncle posts them) of the hundreds of thousands of civilians tortured, butchered and killed). You know for a fact the coalition is doing everything possible to avoid civilian casualties, yet you also should know the complete lack of regard for their own civilians, including women and children, that the Iraqi forces have.

I have no idea what you hope to accomplish here by posting the images - you cannot and will not change my mind with them (even if I knew for a fact they were caused by the coalition, which I don't). Regardless of what anyone else believes, I know civilian casualties are inevitable in any conflict especially when the enemy is committing the atrocities that they are - regrettable, but that's the way war is.

All you're doing for me is reinforcing my beliefs in what we're doing, because it reminds me of all the known and untold atrocities of Saddam's regime and their capacity to use or disseminate those WMDS, and that it's more important than ever to rid Iraq of this horror.

True

"All you're doing for me is reinforcing my beliefs in what we're doing "

The FACT remains that the only evidence offered has be a FORGED document. This establishes that the Bush Administration is untrustworthy.

If seeing children murdered reinfoces your beliefs then apparently your beliefs were really just bases upon "good faith" to begin with. Obviously, everyone has their own reasoning, BUT I will FOREVER fail to understand your "good faith" in an openly decieving Bush Administration.

"It's Allah's will... You must submit!"
"Allah's will protect them!"

Does anyone else find it disturbing how inhumane Frank & Patriot are? At least, while in opposition, most of the others at least show a tad of compassion & respect towards the innocently MURDERED. Frank, especially, seems to have an evil hatred for blacks and muslims. I can imagine this is a similiar hatred that Hitler enstilled into his people regarding Jewish & black people.

Lander, what the fxck do you work for the Iragy ministry of info???
You don't know when or where these pictures were taken.
Even the one that was taken with the caption of the hit downtown Raghdad, was from a type of cluster bomb the US isn't even using in populated areas but you believe them.
The more you snivel the more credibility you lose.

lander

it makes no sense arguing with people who doesn't see that making war for peace is just as syupid as having sex for the virginity.

Yes. There are several people on the war side who get off on seeing us kill innocent Iraqis because it makes them feel tough. It is a sad fact that there are Saddistic people everywhere. Many Americans would like to believe that it is only Al Queda who are cold hearted brutal murderers without a concious. Those type of people were born everywhere, not just in Arab countries.

DM, Spoken like a true lefty..Don't take words out of my mouth, you ain't smart enough.

What bothers me is not us killing Iragys its Iragys killing Iragys, something that you miss altogether..With your thinking why not let Charles Manson out of jail? He never harmed me?

The US is just doing the job that the fraudelent UN signed 17 different contracts to do, and was supposed to be the reason for their existence.

"you ain't smart enough"

Danny, Patriot has a point. You are certainly on a different intellectual level than him.

Here's the difference: Manson is a US citizen and falls under the jurisdiction of US laws. He, like us, must abide by them.

What I find frightening is that the talk of WMDs has subsided somewhat...Why?
The obvious explanation would be that they haven't found any/there aren't any etc.
Now the talk has moved to Iraqi freedom and liberation.
As in, freedom to worship Exxon/Mobil.

Frank, I'll gladly debate with you. One can point out your racism tendancies & debate at the same time (kind of like how we can terrorize Afghanistan & Iraq at the same time)
