Sorry Sherwood, I apologize. I obviously was unaware of your close connection to Sportswagers, which by the way is a great service. I was a regular visit to the Rx for a long time, but had been absent for the past few months. Sorry, again.

Everyone is missing the point here...

Very tired of hearing this crap over and over again. Just because a pick is a miss doesn´t mean it was a bad call. If you have a huge 60% chanse to make it you still miss it 4 times out of 10. Even when you look at the game/stats you can´t say if something is a bad call. There is usually a very real possibility that either team has bad day (bad shooting, not showing up etc.) Only a long time record tells if somebody is a good capper or not so good. This season has certainly been very good for Sherwood. I´d be interested to know how he´s done in previous years. Keep up the good work Sherwood!

Brown Sugar,
You missed the point of my post, I don't care how his picks do. I'll delete that sentence from my post if you want. The point here is that there are a ton of people on this board reading Sherwood's analysis, and I am showing proof that at least half of his analysis was plagarized off of LMU's website. I don't care that he works for Sportswager or whatever (or owns it), he claimed that "every" word of his analysis was his own and that is clearly not true. Anyone following along and ignoring this fact is clearly lying to themselves because he has made some good picks in the past.

In the future, I will continue to vet Sherwood's analysis as well as anyone else that posts writing/analysis that is clearly above the level of your average sports bettor (even one's that own their own company...). I'll post what I find if anything.

John: Everybody gets their info from somewere. Maybe Sherwood didn't re-write it, but that's essentially what everyone does... get info and make a pick from said info.

Did LMU's website make a pick on the game ?

If you want to drive this guy out of here, then keep nitpicking. I think he's a good poster. So what if he copied a few sentences, he did find them.Brian isn't a fraud.

PP,

You're right, I don't bring a lot of value to this forum in the form of picks. I am just refuting someone's claim. I didn't make the claim that he plagarized anything, someone else did. When Sherwood responded, I refuted his claim. That's it, just providing information. As I said before, I am completely on board with people using information from whatever source they want and posting it, obviously that is how people do a lot of their analysis. But if you do that and then claim it to be YOUR analysis, that is somewhat deceitful and makes me question the author. Nothing more nothing less. I have seen Sherwood's site and obviously he is not just pulling picks out of his butt. That's all I'll say as obviously I am ruffling a few feathers. Good luck to all tonight.
