take the over, free money :toast:

okie st will score over 40

Appears that Phil Steele agrees with you on this.

Here's his forecast of this game as written up in this week's edition of PS:

OKLAHOMA ST 49 Houston 35 - Houston is 2-2 SU vs the Cowboys but LY OSU rolled up 699 ttl yds (379 rush) but Houston actually led 16-14 at the half in a 56-37 Cowboy home win. UH won 34-24 at home in ‘06 and has passed for 313 and 387 in the two matchups. OSU is off their much hyped opener vs Georgia, but it was the defense (allowed just 257 yds) and not the offense that shined in the win. Houston will be playing their "A" game after a blowout of IAA NW St last week and with a bye on deck. HC Sumlin is just 1-5 ATS on the road and UH is 0-3 ATS in road openers. Both offenses are potent but OkSt has the vastly better def (#27-112) and should find their offensive rhythm (held to just 307 yds LW).

I will play the OVER 67 (buy the hook) on this one.

I see a "shoot out" for sure.

Best of luck to us! :toast:

haha big wil funny!

Im sitting here watching replay of osu/georgia and think houston is going to severe problems on the line(both sides of the ball)

Houstons skill players return, but starting a new guard and a new tackle vs. a big 12 team. Defense returns 4 starters .
I dont know about total, but just cant see houston tearing it up in this game, and albeit Im a homer, but just look at the numbers and the returners before you lay down the mortgage payment. OSU is not a joke this year

The one variable I see that could bite osu in this game, is if houstons D is actually better with different starters, possible, but doubtful. I just wish this game would to 14.

That is all, just trying to help with my veiw point as I study osu more than any other team. GL folks

OSU is now facing a team that can and will score, no offensive deficiencies like Georgia. Will OSU win the game, sure. Will OSU pull the points, maybe not. Special teams might get it done for OSU but if they turn the ball over or have trouble on third downs Houston could hang. Probably better bets on the board. I had OSU LW but this spread could get back doored as OSU gives a lot of young players some playing time.
Max out, starters in the whole game, OSU all the way. Probably will not happen.

I saw a 50% chance of rain in Stillwater Saturday afternoon, that could make a big difference on the total, could be an under play. :money8:

Just my opinion,

But I think OK State's Defense does GREAT against crap Offenses like Georgia, and Missouri State. But when they play a team that actually has an offense its a different story. Even with the 10 point game against Georgia, Ok State has still given up almost 200 points in their last 5 games. So this defense isnt that Iron Curtain as so many people seem to think.

Houston's Offense is not Georgias or Missouri States.

As a person that lives in Houston this was a BIG Win

Since Sumlin took over as head coach last season, UH has won three consecutive encounters against ranked opponents. The last time the Cougars put together that long a winning streak against ranked opponents was in 1978. Just like that, the Cougars have a convincing case to crack the top 25 for the first time since Sept. 17, 1991.

UH outscored the Cowboys 21-7 in the fourth quarter to move into the 21st spot in the latest Associated Press rankings. With the help of two touchdowns on plays that had an OSU player deflect the ball first, the Cougars are in the top 25 for the first time since the poll of Sept. 17, 1991

need to keep on eye on the cougs this year

Need to keep an eye on NoBS as well. He did this week one with NT. Both solid write ups and great results.

Thanks for sharing your opinions and keep it up.
