and all the rest of you guys, and most of all my fellow GI`s. Too bad this admin. doesn`t feel the same, been going to the VAMC here in Mpls. for over 30 yrs. Just got my latest dose of "good" news. Seems the VA no longer has the funds to provide trans. to the hospital for those w/o family and are in a bad way $$$ wise. As of April 06 they`re SOL, the letter advised "to ask a relative or take public trans." These fu*kers don`t seem to realize that some guys have no families. Doesn`t affect me thank God as I have the resources, but not all do. What happened to the promises made?? There are so many little chickensh*t things they`ve done in the last 5 yrs, and the public is not aware of it. Such as, if you are asked to come out for a blood exam as a result of a svc. connected disaility and have to fast they used to give you a $3.00 meal ticket now that`s cut out too. Not much to us but to some it means a ton. Sorry guys just venting remember "all gave some, some gave all" BOL to everyone today.
