Welcome back. Hope your holiday season is going well. Nice return this past weekend in the NFL and best of luck with today's bowl games and the remainder of the bowl season.
Thanks for the kind words. Took some time off to get refreshed. Hopefully the roll continues through the rest of the football season. Best of luck and I hope you are feeling better my friend!
but ND has played a just as tough schedule and actually beat some decent teams in Mic
this is an untrue statement as oregon st strength of schedule this year was 12th in the nation and notre dame's sos was 36th...another intersting note is that oregon st.'s avg win came versus opponents ranked 54th as did notre dame... however oregon st.'s five losseson avg. were versus #8 opponents and notre dame losses were versus #30... oregon st. lost to lsu#12 by one...boise st#9...arizona st.#13...cal #5 and usc #1...while notre dame on the other hand lost to BYU#48 (what byu!)...purdue #29...boston college#34...pitt #38 and usc#1...
i think the bet here oregon state in the 1st half as theyv'e played the toughter schedule and outscored opponents in the 1st half 159-99... or +60 and notre dame actually has been outscored inthe second quarter 56-61...in the total first half though they have outscored there opposition 136-120 or +16...
the thing about osu though is the second half is a debacle which to me means riley is concsistenly getting outcoached and doesn't make the right adjustment as other coaches against him have as osu has been outscored in the second half by 50 points... this team has no way of controlling the ball and can't run well with steven jackson gone pro and have found no one to fill in for him as he was the bulk of this offense for the last few years prior...
regardless i'm on osu in first half...and second qtr.
