People are really getting mad that 1/50 members have a nice pair of jugs as their avatars?

Coach first off congrats on letting your 3 yr old son visit TheRx, I think he may be our youngest "member".

Second, maybe a fisher price forum or model airplane forum may be better suited for your son and yourself.

Hes not saying his son uses the rx. Hes saying that he can see the computer when he is using it. Its pretty simple though, if there are people around who you think shouldn't see the avatars, than don't go on the site when they are around or turn off avatars.

Damn wish I wouldn't have created this thread not that I know you can turn avatars off. That being said, please spare me the "pussification of the male, slap your wife/mother in law and tell her to mind her own fucking business" etc. etc. Obviously, like I said I could just not visit the forum at all when around others but not it's not a problem since I found out you can turn avatars off.

I was really just throwing it out there to see if anyone else had steered clear of the forum at times because of the people they were around at the time. I didn't realize I was going to hurt some individuals feelings with the thread. Not to judge others, but if you TRULY don't give a flying fuck about being and public or in front of your family and subjecting others to naked women then that is fucking sad. Same thing with people pulling into the gas station with their windows down blaring some rap and making everyone within ear shot hearing "fuck that pussy, blow a niggas brain out" etc. etc. This is coming from a guy who listens to nothing but rap.

Like I said, I love looking at and ass as much as the next guy. I had no idea you could hide the avatars. Problem solved. Sorry for hurting you fellas feelings with the thread. Might as well move it to the rubber room.

I just chimed in and said I turn mine off, cuz I dont want my kids seeing them. If they happen to be walking by the computer when Im on it.

First of all, my son is 5, not 3. If you would have read the thread, you would have known that. 2nd, I dont let my son "visit" the RX. If you would have read the thread, you would know that as well.

Now I realize you were more than likely being sarcastic with your post. And thats fine. I dont take anything personal.

No, we have to limit our Rx access (or had to, before we learned how to turn off avatars) because:

(1) I have two daughters under the age of 10, and I don't want to explain to them why I'm looking at naked pictures of women who are not their mother.

(2) I work a real job, in a real office, where the wrong person catching a glimpse of my screen could have actual career reprocussions.

This was actually the most useful thread I've read on the RX in a long time. Thanks for bringing up this issue so I don't have to worry about it any more.

Not my point, most offices will not let you gain access to porn, or gambling, or social networks, etc. etc. etc.

If your office does not firewall anything, they are saying to you "we trust you don't violate company time visiting non business related websites, we are putting you on the honor system"

They have a web filter system in place, but it is not particularly good. Some sites are blocked, but many others are not. I can gain access to The Rx, but not the site my local uses to collect wagers. I generally limit the frequency I check posts, and no one from IT has come to complain yet...
