This matchup is not even close to being the worst. In 2000 we got stuck with the NY Giants vs Baltimore instead of the dream matchup of Oakland vs Minnesota. And in 1994 we got stuck with the rematch Dallas vs Buffalo instead of San Francisco vs Kansas City, where Joe Montana would have gone against Steve Young. That would have been the greatest Superbowl of all time.
