One of the craziest endings I have ever seen. I did not see that one coming.

This game had me confused with the opening line of Michigan -3......then crossing key numbers & getting as high as -8, where I snatched up Michigan St +8......

Then it got bet down to +6.5 on Friday, & then back up to +7.5......

Very strange line movement......sharps on both sides?

I don't know, but Michigan scared me a bit before the game started.

IMO, if Michigan St's coach doesn't go for a fake punt in his own 30 yard line, & punt instead which gave Michigan a 10-7 HT lead, Michigan St would have lead this game wire to wire........Harbaugh has this Michigan team playing very outstanding football on both sides of the ball.

What we saw from the punter could easily happen in the NFL as well.......you can think in those moments where you fumble a snap....yes, if the punter falls in the ball, game over!

Will this miracle for Michigan St taking them to 7-0 have them in the playoffs in Jan?

Their toughest games will be at Nebraska & at Ohio St.......
Where did it open 3? MSU never led until there were zeroes on the clock. They were playing catch up most of the game.

As a broken hip survivor (at age 44).. I would like to know when the kid's hip snapped on that play. It's possible it happened as he dove and got tackled.. in the end zone. Or it may have happened in the celebration. If you watch the pile on... at one pt a teammate is shaking him by holding onto his shoulder pads, right by his chest... and the kid starts swinging wildly in pain to get the guy to stop shaking him. The hip was broken at that pt. for sure.

I cannot begin to imagine busting a hip and having people jumping on top of me. That kid was in some serious PAIN. Believe it. I'd say that was his last football play of his career. If that bone gets necrosis.. he will need a replacement in a few years. And most likely they are going to stick a rod and pin in there today to stablize everything. No way in hell he comes back to play football. Mark my words. Kid is a hero for Michigan State for all time.

The books should grade this as a Michigan win and to make up for the money lost, fine the kid and if he can't pay go after his parents and relatives. Take their house. Michigan won that game. Kid makes out with 100K and money under the table from fake big shot old guy Steven Ross and messes up.

Exactly. I was wondering the same thing myself, I personally believe it happened during the pileup and I've watched the play to reach this conclusion...multiple times.

I agree that this Kid is a football hero who should be Immortalized for all time in Lansing and I am sorry for this outcome for him.

I was watching the game with my youngest daughter, and she left with about a minute to go in the 4th. She said to let her know who won. I told her that Michigan was going to win and changed the channel to watch another game. I flipped back shortly after the TD and couldn't believe it. I called her back into the house and showed her the replay. She laughed because she was pulling for Michigan State.

Depends where the fracture was..if it was on the middle of lower trochanter he will lead a fairly normal life, starting in about 6 months. They can take the hip nail out and back fill the bone with graft.

If it was broken up near the humeral head (ball), that is a different story.
