alright, nice work in the thread today fellas. let's recap:

1-0 SU
1-0 ATS

Lapdance $200 to win $400 on the field with GTC booking the wager.

not shabby. also D2Bets not sure what you think you are talking about with this being the best squad since '84? we will just chalk that up as being confused.

You guys are nuts. The US has what it needs. You never know in a one and done tournament, but I would be shocked if these guys don't take gold. Best dream team since '84 at least.

92 was the first "dream team"... and that was the greatest team ever assembled, not really debatable if you look at that roster (and the way they destroyed everyone).

Actually, while the 92 dream team had a roster full of hall of famers and near hall of famers I think what has happened is the rest of the world or at least the top basketball playing countries are much better 16 years later and are in no way intimidated by the NBA All Stars like the they were in 1992. Just look at 2008 NBA rosters compared to 1992 NBA rosters and compare the number of international players (many stars) on each roster.

That does not mean the US won't win the gold, it just IMO means they will have to work harder and play well to do it. In 92 they steamrolled everyone.

wil.

the team in '92 was the best team ever assembled, period. the rest of the world has gotten better but the original dream teamers would still embarrass the rest of the world in part because of talent but also because they had the killer instinct.

The '92 team was by far the best team ever assembled. No team is even close to that roster. You put that team in their prime in this tournament and I'd put them as at least 10-15 point favs over the current USA team.

And as for the thread, USA is 0-1 ATS. Most that bet on China got them at +33.5, or +33. USA won by 31, so most China backers won their bet.

They open as 42.5 point favorites against Angola.

alright fellas... angola is up next and this should be an easy cover IMO....

if you are not sure about the points you can lay 40g's to win a hundy...

and the thread is 1-0 ats... plenny of 29.5's and 30's available to anyone who was willing to shop.

Took this US game to go under.

After watching the boys versus China. Well they played defense and class by not turning it up like they could have....will they do the same versus Angola? I hope. Nervous with the spread, but ok with the total.
