Currently feel that the line on two additional games that I planned to post are about as good as may become available, however there may be an additional half point movement by game day in one or both of them. Therefore, I have decided to post them now at the line currently available and allow for those that are interested to choose when to move. There remains two additional plays that I am considering and both are early starts. I need to continue my evaluation and if they warrant a play, I will post them before the end of the day to complete the card. Hence the current additions:

1* Auburn -3.5
1* Alabama +8

Good Luck All.

Play to Check out--Colo St. - 6 1/2

OMT,

Because you have been so generous in sharing your insight with others, here is some information you want to consider: The entire Las Vegas community has moved on to basketball. Last week Safety Jamal Brimmer (an NFL draft pick who may not play this week) was quoted in the Las Vegas paper on Saturday as saying he just wanted to get the season over with. UNLV's starting QB quit the team for personal reasons. If the Rebels could not gut it out to win John Robinson's last home game, they sure as hell ain't gonna get up for a meaningless road game. Lubick's teams always play hard and have a spectacular ATS record in November. UNLV's best cornerback has been suspended by the conference for Saturday's game. In addition, the best linebacker for UNLV has criticized Coach Robinson for the team's lack of conditioning because he did not make summer workouts mandatory. UNLV is in disarray and I think we see a mail it in game on Saturday. I am playing Colo. St. - 6 1/2 and think this line may rise significantly by gametime at 9 a.m. on saturday (changed starting time)

Good luck

If I were you, I would wait as I believe the direction of this line will move toward 3 by game time rather then above 4. In answer to your question, yes I would still play it at 4 in the event the line did not move. Best of luck to you whatever you decide.

As always thanks for your insights Ted. I am neither on nor against any of your sides. But I am sure you will have continued success. Feeling Bama some. Thanks for the props, you are my role model. Just not the old man part yet.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

Have completed my evaluation of the remaining two games under consideration and have decided to include them as final selections. Therefore, my final card in rotation order is as follows:

1* West Virginia -6.5 (Free Half Point)
1* Minnesota -3
1* Auburn -3.5
1* Virginia -3
1* Alabama +8

For those that may be interested, I have posted my first 3* play of my wagering year too date in the NFL Forum with reasoning. As always, hope everyone has a successful weekend and continued success in the remainder of the football season.

Good Luck All.

Ted,
Thanks for taking the time to respond to my last post. Also, thanks for the heads-up on the NFL pick, I felt a little like a stalker clicking over the NFL forum and hunting your thread down = )

I like the disclaimer at the end of the post. You have developed a bit of a cult following here, so it was a good prompt to all to keep money managment in mind.

GL this weekend and thanks again for the posts.

Ted,

Glad you are not neglecting the great state of Alabama with your football plays. If Pennington can just make a couple of plays and avoid mistakes,Bama has a chance at the outright. As for Auburn-I hope they win.It will make my woman happy and you know what happens when your woman is happy-:hump: .

Good luck.

THAT is a unbelievable statement! Bama is completly overmatched at every position. They have been overachieving on defense to this point, but they are in for a loss tonight.

SORRY Ted, I see this as an easy LSU cover.

I would assume that you think Alabama has more talent than Troy State. Are you not the same person who told us to "wake up" because we picked Bama over Ole Miss?I get the picture.Good luck tonight, Pete.

AAAAH AHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....ROTFLMAO!

Comparing LSU's motivation for Troy with their motivation for Bama is laughable and juvenile. I'm talking about realistic, head-to-head matchups and basing my selection on the talent of each team.....AND their coaching staffs.

If I were simply picking teams out of a hat because of how they did in prior contests, I would suggest this........

Alabama has not beaten any teams worth a steaming fecal deposit. Alabama's wins have came over Utah State (not Utah), Ole Miss (early in the season when Ole Miss's offense was struggling), Western Carolina (who is a 1-AA school), Kentucky, Southern Mississippi and Mississippi State. The three games that Alabama lost have came against Tennessee, South Carolina and Arkansas.

Now, you tell me......WHY are we supposed to think that Bama will beat (straight up) LSU in Baton Rouge?

Good luck today ted, I hope you win every game except minnesota, I'm not betting with my heart but Iowa's defense way to good. Minny fell apart towards middle of the season.

Why is the Auburn line moving?

Its back to -3. Any ideas. Is this a good time to get on the game or to pass?

Ted Thanks for the Chargers pick last week. Appreciate it..

Because they're all trying to find a team with a good passing game that Auburn has beaten.......uh oh. That's right, they haven't beaten ANYONE that can sling that thing.....Georgia can. So, you're seeing action come down big on Georgia....and have all week.

Georgia 20 - Auburn 13
