Yes, I count my blessing. My parents gave their lives, literally, to put their children through college and have good careers. I didn't begin this business until after I graduated from college and my career was underway. So, I was fortunate to have a very good income from the outset and didn't have to worry about losing my job. That made it easier to experiment with finding ways to generate additional income without fear of losing. By no means is this a comparison but it is sort of like Tiger Woods signing a $60 million contract with Nike before he ever played one professional tournament. If ones income is never in doubt, it allows for a lot of flexibility and risk taking that otherwise would not have occured. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished so far. Just imagine if you continue, where you might be in 20 more years. This oldman thinks you will doing very well.

SSI and I have been open and honest with each other since our first discussions began shortly after I made my first post in the NBA Forum. I value his friendship and appreciate his work ethic, not only in this business, but clearly in personal life. I believe him to be a true and honest person whom I would trust completely.

Yes, you told me of your convenience store and some detail of your work and your mentor. It makes me smile when you feel that I remind you of him. We will surely talk some more. Get some rest young man, and I say that with respect.

.

The point of all this is to simply state that everything is relative of course. I remember playing in the Hull Casino (near where I live) at the same BlackJack table with Alexei Yashin (NHL Hockey Star). We were both playing for 50$ a hand. Of course for me, it was heart wrenching, 50$ a hand was huge when considering my salary, lifestyle etc...for him however it must of been next to nothing with his all expense paid 6 million dollar a year salary. I always find that it is better that when we talk about bets on these forums that we refer to everything as units, or better yet percentage of bankroll. This way everything can remain relative.

MY history is similar to SSI's...started gambling early in High school when our government introduced sports lotteries...quickly evolved to bookies....am 31 now so it has been about 12 years on & off. I have had good successes but also terrible low's...I still struggle today with some of the pitfalls that many gamblers encounter like poor money Management aswell as lack of discipline...I have however made tremendous strides over the past 1.5 years & I see myself turning the corner soon as SSI did years ago.
