104 looks too easy for an over. If you're gonna play over, the play is over 52 3Q... and if you like under, I think under 52.5 4Q is the play. Your logic for playing over is that the game is going to be close enough for the Lakers to bother fouling at the end (I'd assume). The safer thing to do at that point is play over in the 3rd because nothing is slowing down then... But if you prefer the under, you're basically banking on the Lakers just letting the last couple minutes basically run out... and under 52.5 4Q is safer at that point.
I'm staying way way clear of this 2nd half line. Kobe can take this game over and bring the Lakers back into it especially with the fouls mounting on the Suns... but if Kobe doesn't go for 25 2H, the Lakers are going to get trampled. I could see the total going either way. Only thing I played was over 52 3Q.
I didn't mean to hijack your thread, Ted... I'm really only screwing around with some piddly money for the sake of action. This time of year I tend to have good luck for no reason whatsoever (I like to think it's the gambling gods' birthday gift to me... my birthday is Friday). For the next few days, I'll be floating around w/ the NBA.
Sure as hell hasn't come how I would've figured, but the Lakers have done their part to make sure this puppy reaches at least 52. Interesting to see what LA can do with Kobe struggling and Odom and Walton forced to the bench with 5 fouls. Phoenix could go on a big run to close the 3rd/begin the 4th.
