Hat, according to the chart it should be 75 or so, coupled with attitude and aptitude testing of younger drivers below 35.

I do think once you reach a certain age like 60, you should have to take the driving test again.

Yeah, 60-65 is probably a bit young. Maybe a mandatory road test at 65, another at 70, and every two years starting at 75.

It's tough to say because there are people sharp as a tack at 80 and Alzheimer's candidates at 65.

One things for sure...this guy certainly shouldn't have been on the road.

In an amusing aside from Tim Dorsey's latest novel "Atomic Lobster", he's got some 70something lady characters who let us in on a little known secret.

That is - older drivers aren't running over groups of people because they're neccesarily more feeble.

Rather, they're exploiting stereotypes so that they can kill the people who make them angry (slow packs of bike riders, smart ass young people etc) and then afterwards get off the legal hook by playing the "I'm confused!" card.
