ODU will be a seed ranging from 7 to 12 depending on how they finish the season.
If they are a 11 seed, all they wil need is a win against a 6 seed and a 3 seed.
The ML will be around +200 for the first game and maybe even +400 for the second game.
12-1 or 15-1 would be good odds for ODU to make the sweet 16 - I know Shrink is going for the scalp here

I cannot believe they get anywhere near a 7 seed, and probably not even a 12 seed for that matter...nothing against them its just not usually how the seeding works...if they can get down to atleast 12 seed they have a great shot of being Cinderella...big IF though...

Yes, it's true that ODU has lost 10 consecutive times to this team, but in years past, VCU was much better. The first time they played earlier this year, VCU shot 50% from the field and 50% from 3 point range on their home court compared to 33% for the game from ODU and ODU only lost by 4.
VCU is one of the worst outside shooting teams in the league believe it or not, and they will have a much harder time scoring today on ODU'S HOME COURT which has been sold out for awhile now and where ODU is undefeated...
I attended ODU'S practice yesterday, and I can honestly say that they looked GREAT and they appear ready to MANHANDLE this team and they will be playing a full court trap defense at times...Just watch how many turnovers they will force VCU to committ...
I understand that some of you may question why laying 8 points to a team that has won 9 straight times is a GREAT BET, but like I said, you'll just have to trust me judgement here.
ODU will make a STATEMENT because they want to be in the TOP 25 for the first time in the school's history, they deserve it, and they know that the entire country will be watching them since the game is on ESPN 2 at 4 PM EST...
Look for ODU to WIN by 12 points or more...
And you can take THAT to the bank!!!!
