Ok RX'ers a Big thanks for all the help... It seems the uninstall route of Chrome worked. Booted it back up and installed Chrome again and so far so good. So a big thanks to Fzit as he may have solved the problem!

More than annoying! It popped up several ads on every site from sneakers to insurance stuff. Have no idea how it got installed, but in the extensions under chrome it clearly listed the program and you couldn't remove it.
