I don't like the guy, think he's murderer, but on the merit of what he was actually convicted of, and that he wasn't a trouble maker in prison, it's appropriate. It's a tough job those on the board have, they've got a job to do and they have to be above the noise.

During his years in prison, Simpson has passed the time playing fantasy football, coaching softball, and, at least in the beginning, eating lots of junk food, according to guards and an inmate who were there with him. He also has a ping pong table and Hulu to watch movies.

Wait...what? What merit? Even jurists who acquitted him now openly admit they were wrong and OJ is a cold-blooded murderer. Clearly the system FAILED everyone.

No harm would have done for members of the board to deny this psychopath parole.

Why the fuck are they allowed a softball team? I thought this was supposed to be prison, not recess.

I'm not talking about what happened in Cali, I'm talking about what happened here in Nevada. Not our fault that california doesn't have their shit together. Nevada made a case on him, and got the conviction. He did his time, guys on the parole board have to leave emotions out of it, by what may be the truth, and what he's actually in prison for. That's why we have our shit together in this State.

I agree with him doing his time for the crime he was committed for. They shouldn't take into account he may have gotten off with the murder charge. Those are 2 separate charges.

Based on the Charges for THIS crime he was in Prison for, yes he did his time and was a Model Prison inmate.

As much as we ALL Hate him and know what he did ( or think we know ) There's nothing you can do about it.

Sure the Board could have said in their minds, well I'm going to screw with him and keep him in Jail for a little more time.
But let's face it, they gave him 9-33 years on those charges, where someone else would have gotten less. They already Fuked with him, now they wanted to

I'm sure the Brown and Simpson families would strongly disagree.

Fine, he was a model prison inmate, but one with a frightening record of violence, so none of that history should be taken into account? If CA screwed up, then the NV board had a moral obligation to get it right. They got it wrong.

A violent sociopath like OJ will get into trouble again. It's just a question of "when" not "if". It's a public safety issue. Hopefully this parole board doesn't end up with blood on its hands.

It was obvious he was getting released. Not sure why the line went from 420 to 320. I hate oj but he wasn't serving time for murder. He got away with murder but not armed robbery in Nevada. Now we get this fuck when he moves back to Florida.

Don't see how it's on Nevada. They put a case together, got a conviction and got him a huge sentence. It's not our parole board's duty to settle the score, or punish someone for another crime they were acquitted of. California couldn't do that cause everyone there is about settling old scores. What ever OJ does is on California for dropping the ball.

seemed like a very long sentence for this particular case and circumstances............thought he would have been released years ago....
