i can't understand why people would keep yelling ohio state sucks when week after week they keep winning. i hate the way that they win though. if a team has a chance to bury someone early, they should. the offense is very suspect but has had a little more success lately running the ball, although it has come against teams not so strong against the run. i would put the defense up against any other team in the country. navarre will have to beat the bucks (which he could if he throws to dustin fox's side all day) because michigan will not run the ball on them. i think oklahoma has proven that they are at an entire different level than the rest of college football. there are several teams that could be considered just a notch below oklahoma and ohio state is one of them. tennessee is not, they would have 3 or 4 losses in the big ten already. ohio state will have to have their A game for michigan on the road. tressel seems to be able to get his teams to play their best when they have to. the bucks better have their game together for this weekend because purdue is a pretty good football team.

I agree that Purdue is certainly capable of beating the Buckeyes - not because Ohio State sucks but because Purdue is a good, solid team.
Unlike last year, Purdue won't have 2 weeks to prepare for tOSU and it will be an emotionally charged Horseshoe and players that they will face in their last home game. It won't be easy but the Bucks get the job done on Saturday.

OSU may have won the fiesta bowl last year - but make no mistake about it - they were NOT the best team in college football last year - NO WAY!
if usc had played osu in the fiesta bowl - they would have made last week's OU/Texass A&M game seem close.
ask anyone with a brain who followed CFB - and they will tell you w/o a doubt that if there had been a 4-team playoff last season - and usc was a part of it - usc EASILY wins it all. and even though i live in the so cal area - i am NOT a usc fan at all. i just realize they were the BEST team in CFB last season - NO QUESTIONS AT ALL!
same thing this season - sort of. osu is a fraud. they barely beat teams and then claim that just because they won the game they should be ranked high. actually - anyone who ranks them higher than 5th in the nation IS HIGH!
if osu plays ou in the sugar bowl - i will lay whatever the line is - for ou will run over, through, around, etc. the b(f)uckeyes.

winky, while i respect your knowledge of west coast teams, to continually bash last years osu team is ridiculous. they were national champs, period. were there other good teams, of course, were the other teams undefeated, no. lets move on to this year. i think usc has a great team but you will have to admit that the schedule they have played with the very weak pac 10 has helped. i like how pete carroll coaches his team and love the fact that they will put a game out of reach early. all of you osu bashers are really overlooking the fact that their defense is great. you have to beat them with a strong passing game and as woody used to say, three things can happen when you pass and two of them are bad. we can guess all day long as who would win if two teams who haven't played would play. you have to respect a team that is 9-1. this week purdue will get some yards but crossing the goal line will be an entirely different story.

Southern Cal lost 2 phuckin' games last year. They lost to a Wazzou team last year that Ohio State abused 25-7 so don't give me this they were the better team bull$hit. Miami was supposedly going to wipe the field with Ohio State and they didn't even win the damn game. Just because Southern Cal mauled an uninspired Iowa team in the Orange Bowl (Iowa was extremely disappointed they didn't play in the Rose) doesn't mean they would have beat Ohio State.

how in your right mind can you say that usc would beat osu, you guys never face a defense as tough and hard nosed as osu. the pac ten is a glamour school that attracts kids because of the weather, not tradition or being an nfl factory. Ohio state WAS the best team last year and proved it to miami and everybody else who didnt give them a chance. As for the blown call you talk about, we have a picture of the supposed "blown call" aand it clearly shows pass interference!!!! So usc is a good team, lsu is a good team, and oklahoma is a good team and osu is a good team, not offesively, abd in any given day in cfb any team can win, ask cal, and wisconsin, adn ask florida.
wc bias, the national championship game was the best national championship game ever played adn wput the 2 best teams in the country together like its suppose to and it gave a game that only comes al;ong every so often, and game to remember even if you arent an osu or miami fan.
