I will not lock down again under any circumstances. I am not going to allow the government to destroy our economy. I will be smart, I wear a mask, I am extremely sanitary and I practice social distancing. You can arrest me, you can do whatever you want to me, but I will not lock down again.
currently at home in quarantine with my family. my daughter had a girl on her bus test positive. we feel fine, contact was friday the 6th. we are all getting tested today at 2 pm since we found out yesterday about the other girl testing posite. nobody feels sick or has a fever but just doing our part. we shouldnt lock down but when you do come in contact with someone you need to take the proper protocols. i understand wanting to live your life the way you want but ultimately when its your time to quarantine you need to do it properly. we are trending towards another lockdown in NC, limited to 10 people gatherings at the moment but its not being followed. im not a person who is terrified of the virus but inevitably when your even slightly compromised you gotta do your part. live the way you want but when its time to quarantine do it.

The statement was made "covid will disappear the day after the election"...no one with any sense meant it literally...
What people are saying now as most people were before the election is this covid deal has been far more used for political motivations than anything else...

A few things are about to happen in the next year or so in this country...
1. Covid will become a non issue and "under control".
2. BLM/protest/social unrest/defund the police etc will die out.
3. Some type of foreign conflict/terrorism will again become the 24/7 news cycle we are used too...It is so weird we have not heard a peep about IsIs or Islamic terrorism since covid caught the attention of the MSM...I guess covid was what we needed all along to defeat the Islamic terrorist that was pushed down our throats daily as the biggest threat to America! 2) flu deaths & serious complications have decreased tremendously
3) C-19 ill health & deaths are far less due to the lockdowns
4) likewise probably other communicable diseases (e.g. tuberculosis, HIV) have been greatly reduced by the extreme safety measures in place
5) street crimes have probably been highly reduced.
6) families have been able to spend more time together enjoying each others company while free from the slavery of that 4 letter word "work" that the vast majority hate. Giving more time for quality of life activities like sex & various entertainments.
7) abortions (child murder) are probably down.

How many people needing emergency care would die with hospitals closed for weeks.

2)Homicide rate is up nearly 15%(compared to the same time last year) since lockdowns.
3)Aggravated assaults are up 4.6%(compared to this time last year) since lockdowns.
4)Gun violence has dramatically increased since lockdowns.
5)Car thefts have risen by 6%(compared to this time last year) since lockdowns.
6)Arson offenses have jumped 19%(compared to this time last year) since lockdowns.
7)Financial scams have risen since lockdowns began.
