Congratulations to Livin the Family Life! who becomes our 2nd multi-week winner with a nice parlay win on the last day to earn the $150 jackpot for Week 8. Came down to the late game where Livin' needed STL/CUBS to go over 8.5 while Damnhook needed a STL win. The outcome was settled early as the game went over by the 4th inning. In case you guys missed it, I posted a setup for the Finale:
Of course Week 9 starts tomorrow and then I had us take a week break with the Finale to begin on Tues, June 20. Reason being that I will be inundated with Family functions on the weekend of June 16-18 and would not be able to devote the time necessary to run the contest in an acceptable manner. I know I've been accused of changing the rules midstream in the past, but I believe there is a way around this with minimal disruption.
I propose that, instead of a week break, we start the Finale on Tues, June 13th, run it for 3 days (13th-15th), then resume on Tues, June 20th and finish on Sun, June 25th. So, in essence we're adding 3 days to the Finale (making a total of 9 days). In so doing, the total # of plays required will increase to exactly 30 (no more, no less than 30). All other rules will remain the same as stated in the setup link above. The plays for the final 3 days of the contest will be hidden and released once all have posted or the last game of the day has started, whichever comes first.
Ok, sounds good. I did miss the Finale Setup somewhere along the line. Do have a couple clarification questions then:
