Howry gave up the homer fella.. Affeldt KILLED it in his appearance.. a lot of sloppy errors (esp. the missed foul catch by Sandoval) and the umpire missed that final strike to take down Rasmus.. SF had a lot opportunities but couldn't manage to capitalize with runners in scoring position.. Overall, good pitching duel tonight that's for sure.
ohhh okay, my bad then. but yeah, I hear you man... Affeldt should've stayed in after making those Cards batters look confused as hell up against him.. Like I said earlier, missed opportunities and sloppy playing cost them.. Luckily, the Angels grabbed a homer in the 9th to tie it up so maybe this can rebound for it!
