Thank god, the corned beef was very lean or we would have lost a true pioneer. Sh1t! I forgot how to do the heimlich maneuver so I was scared shtless. Thank god for that lean corned beef. God Bless Pino. What a deli he has. Anyway back to the issue at hand....the disgusting dirty avatars must go. I will not mention any names (JJ said it wouldnt be nice to insult posters in public), but lets be honest something has to be done. JJ should be getting off the phone with The Good Shrink shortly and I am sure he will fill me in on what has transpired over the last 45 minutes. If I am allowed I will relay that info to you. Hopefully we can still keep the Priests, Fishermen, and Croc Hunters at this aweosme site. God knows that this site would be nothing without 'em.
I have seen some where I saw women's cheeks from a bathing suite, have seen some

I want MORE in the avatars. We have how many registered users and 2 complain about it. I hope we don't give in to the 2. Majority rules in this country. Me, as a white working tax-paying male is the US most precious commodity and we should not give in to these ass-clowns.

& that self-loving baby Lucifer look-alike annoys the green-eggs-&-ham poop out of me. The avatar issue might not be so obvious IF there also wasn't an irreverent, almost confrontational tone to this board-- combined, the two may cause some people "uncomfortability".
OK, maybe the latter's fine because it's: A--part of the character of this place, B--even the oocasional arrogant answer or putdown will have some nugget of knowledge, & since our main goal for being here is to obtain kernels of wisdom & fruits of knowledge, we can do like the small animals of the African plain: sift through the elephant dung for the intact seeds & fruit.
I enjoy looking at risque avatars, but that is not the point: the root of all conflict, sin, bad manners-- however you wish to label it, is someone does something that they find enjoyable BUT that is detrimental or offensive to someone else.
The object & definition of good manners is making others feel welcome through not doing something we want, something we're entitled to even.
If this last point doesn't ring a bell for us, & we wish to say,"Tough, let whoever doesn't like it find another forum", then at least let's look at tit from the point of view of not hurting ourselves by chasing away someone who may have taught us something-- if we're already putting up with some drivel in order to learn. let's put up with this latest proposal too.
