No, this is not working.
Overall record (After 43 days):
W 296 - L 312 / +81.1 u
81.1 units gained, 1 unit being 0.2% of the bankroll is 16.22% bankroll gain compared to the start.
This would be OK with a straight betting money management, but for what I was trying here I can't continue any further after the heavy losses in the last week.
W 296 - L 312
This is 48.684 % hit rate, which for straight units betting of course is crap. For a progressive betting system would be good enough, if I would not have too many times too many individual chases going to lose 6, 7, 8 consecutive times in row.
Because that's what I was doing, practically individual chases on all the MLB teams, 100% according to the Dunkel Index .
The Dunkel Index is what I was using as the direct source of picks in the previous trial systems too posted here until now, just in different combinations and tactics, like using different units as a base, and starting to chase any team after 2, or even 3 consecutive Dunkel picks lost, etc.
But taking 100% the Dunkel Index's picks as they are is completely useless in a long run, even if applied to variations of chase systems, no matter what I was trying to do. (And after this I very much believe it's the same with the other 2-3 major sports indicators too - they are all utter shit if one wants to follow them "one on one").
On all sports over a season according to my research Dunkel barely hits 51% correct picks, and I was trying to use this stat, but if on any individual team there are every once in a while spells of 6, 7, 8 or even 9 losses in row, no matter what I'm trying to do, any chase system based on Dunkel gets busted sooner or later.
If I would start just with an unit being equal with 0.1% of the bankroll, going for half the bankroll increase, the system would still would have too high chance of being busted.
The only thing which would probably work applying 100% the Dunkel picks would be using just a 0.1% unit AND using labby for all the teams - but then this would be a horribly laborious work done manually, and some "threads" (following each and every team) would get very very long, maybe several weeks long, and the overall bankroll increase in the long term would not be over 20% per month.
This overall result would be good enough still, but all this work should be done just with a software. (Any takers here, lol?)
I'm being honest in saying that in this last system the work load was about 3 hours per day on average for me doing everything manually, and trust me I had already a routine doing it, lol...
There were a lot of math calculations to be done, plus every time I was doing every calculation twice to eliminate the risk of mistakes.
Please post your opinion in this thread on what I was trying to do with Dunkel, or about your trials (if any) or opinion on how in another way Dunkel or any other rating system could be used taking there predictions 100% in some kind of betting system.
Also you can write me through
the Google Group where I was posting this system.
These being said, I'm concluding the posting of picks in this thread, and I'll open another one, with another system, but this time staying far away from Dunkel.
I won't stop until I can find the ideal sports betting system, even if takes a lots of work, sometimes many months with no results.
I have time to do it, because I make a living exclusively by doing Forex trading and sports betting (my own sports betting can't be resumed in a system and regularly posted, because I make last minute decisions and usually I place my bets just minutes before the betting lines are closed).
