As I just noted in the thread by Presto (nyquil et al), dumbass federal policy makers of either party are full o' bull if they honestly think they can keep Americans from getting pretty much whatever products they want in the 21st global marketplace.

Now if - while the Dems are in control of Congress - they pass some laws which make possession of good ol' fashion light bulbs a crime worthy of prison time, I'll come up to Wisconsin and we'll march on Madison together.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that for at least 98% or more of each of our daily lives, we can all pretty much do whatever the fuck we want* while quietly and with little fanfare giving Washington DC the big huzzah.
