More desperation. Pretty sad what the right wing has become. Embarrassing.

Yeah, those right-wing Frenchies and Brits are only doing this to bash the President.

Whatever the hell it is that makes you as stupid as you are, it really works with amazing efficiency.

Well at least he wasn't taking selfies at a funeral. Now that would be classless.

again, why dilute from significant issues for which you have great arguments?

IMHO, this stuff diminishes legit arguments, it lets his supporters say stuff like "they don't like him chewing gum at public events, of course they're not going to support him on (insert policy)"

is it dignified? I guess it can be undignified in some circumstances

You have to look at his collective actions since taking office. This one may be minor but it’s still another log on the bonfire.

To be honest since when did anyone care what the French or Brits thought? I didn't see anyone giving a shit when the French were against the Iraq War but holy fuck the president is chewing gum and the Frenchies don't like it is suddenly some big deal .

I don't give a fuck about what the rest of the world thinks, but the point is this isn't just some manufactured outrage by the right like some dems are claiming. That's the dem auto-response: "There goes the far-right again...just trying to find any excuse to smear the President." That is not the case here...and probably not the case for 99% of the criticism he gets.

It's the same thing when you hear claims like "Obamacare opponents are just racist!" No, they aren't. They just think it's a shit policy, regardless of the skin color of the author.

Do you see my point? I know others in here can't, but you seem to at least have an ability to comprehend beyond that auto-response level...

Willie, you are right, in the whole scheme of things this is a small issue. As the son of a vet and on the heels of the VA debacle, it hit me wrong. Still not happy about it but time to move on. Better to discuss it in a sports forum than in a larger venue, the media is not running with the story as far as I know.

Still classless but the international media seem to be more concerned about it than the US press and that surprises me since they have been enamored with him for the past 6 years.

I don't see how chewing gum during a ceremony is an issue someone can get up in arms about.

Its GUM ... he wasn't blowing bubbles, he wasn't scratching his balls, he didn't fall asleep, he didn't light up a cigarette... he was chewing gum.

Im one of the first to disagree with a great majority of what Obama has done to this country with his policies, and the way he has handled his job as POS and the decisions he has made.

But raising a stink for him chewing gum during a ceremony is reaching.

That's because he doesn't have any.

The Stutering Clusterfuck strikes again. From the White House's own Instagram feed...

http://ktla.com/2014/09/23/obamas-coffee-cup-salute-draws-criticism/

You'd think a guy who sends troops out to die could find the time to put down his latte and properly salute the Marines in front of him...then you remember he's an uncouth imbecile.

And for those of you who are getting ready to ask "What's the big deal here?" This is the equivalent of scratching your balls and guzzling beer during the National Anthem.

Just a revolting POS. This guy knocks it out of the park:

I had to salute with a prosthetic arm, yet Obama cant even put down his damn latte? Come on.
