Yeah, those right-wing Frenchies and Brits are only doing this to bash the President.
Whatever the hell it is that makes you as stupid as you are, it really works with amazing efficiency.
again, why dilute from significant issues for which you have great arguments?
IMHO, this stuff diminishes legit arguments, it lets his supporters say stuff like "they don't like him chewing gum at public events, of course they're not going to support him on (insert policy)"
is it dignified? I guess it can be undignified in some circumstances

To be honest since when did anyone care what the French or Brits thought? I didn't see anyone giving a shit when the French were against the Iraq War but holy fuck the president is chewing gum and the Frenchies don't like it is suddenly some big deal .

I don't see how chewing gum during a ceremony is an issue someone can get up in arms about.
Its GUM ... he wasn't blowing bubbles, he wasn't scratching his balls, he didn't fall asleep, he didn't light up a cigarette... he was chewing gum.
Im one of the first to disagree with a great majority of what Obama has done to this country with his policies, and the way he has handled his job as POS and the decisions he has made.
But raising a stink for him chewing gum during a ceremony is reaching.
