I agree being stupid and doing something like that is worthy of some punishment. I won’t pretend to know all the facts of this case but to compare the “violence” of Jan 6 and what happened for months and months around the county is just pure ignorance.
People burned, looted, and killed. Hell, they even took over city blocks. I watched Jan 6 unfold on live TV, these guys took an illegal tour of the capital building.
This sentence was handed down with political motivation. And unfortunately that’s where our Justice system has gone. You disagree with them and your toast. It is what it is at this point, not really debatable. Someone will come in a say differently, but you have your head buried deep in the sand if you think it’s an even playing field lol.
