Its very unlikely the email came from Cox. Chances are the fake number on the fake email was to the scammers themselves. If you EVER get contacted by these phishing sites be really careful, stay FRESH and aware of who youre dealing with

Hey Smart guy! READ MY LIPS: I CALLED Cox on the phone! I guess that was fake also what I was told.

Firstly, thank you for the compliment! Second, there's as much chance of you getting rich off of Bitcoin as there is that that email and phone number weren't fake. As a general rule, don't believe any email you get asking you to download anything or call any number without some kind of real world verification

peace out

What I would love to read : A poster from here calls COX and asks them is there is a problem with their use of a scrambler (or whatever the name is of these things).. Then be a stand up guy and report back to us here what they told you..Possibly give us something that PROVES what you say is real....

DEAC...he was anti-Jehovah...so I never paid much mind to him. but ya...he slipped into the shadows like so many do.
It takes steadfastness to remain a part of this whole thing.

Why cant you admit you got scammed and led down the garden path in an obvious phishing attack? Why would anyone EVER allow their system to be attacked and compromised by contacting the very site that got ahold of your personal data in the first place? Wouldn't a FRESH idea be to report this matter to your ISP?
