Now that Obama has agreed to debate, how will he do? (Still no word on townhalls)

Obambi is going to do just fine in the debates. They will be entirely scripted with canned questions and responses that will have been memorized off of his talking points. Hope and Change and Hope and Change.

McCain will look old and feeble and stutter around like the senior citizen that he is.

If I was McCain I would only want one debate. Three times? Three times you say? Three times the American people are going to see him stutter and stammer around?

The only chance he would have in a debate is the town hall style debate. Obambi can't think on his feet. If anyone disputes this then they simply have not been paying attention.

It pains me to say this but I agree. If I was McCain I would require questions submitted by average citizens or no debate and then play up the MSM bias.

Obama will overwhelm McCain in these here debates cause he speeks goodlyer and he is prettyer than McCain. These factors will loom very large in these contests. McCain should not debate him cause Obama will make him look foolish. This is what I think about this here matter.

My history teacher told me in high school that Nixon actually won the debate but Kennedy's good looks and youthfulness won the voters over. Don't know if that's true. But this reminds me of that for some reason.

i believe it was people listening on radio had a very different interpretation of the debate than those watching TV

not only b/c of kennedy's looks but Nixon was sweating pretty bad during the whole thing

This is the kind of performance we can look forward to from Sen Obama in the debates:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KbpWonUzlrc&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KbpWonUzlrc&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

:nohead:

And this but a drop in the bucket.

When he is off prompter, he is EMBARRASSING.

absolutely true

however that was the beginning of the TV age

today, with over saturation of media and the "sound bite" there will be no "good look" victory

"Nixon's the One" I'll never forget that slogan. First guy I ever voted for and if not for a silly buglary which he did not know about before hand he would have gone down as a top tier president. If Nixon would have won that close election he never would have escalated the Viet Nam War like Johnson did.
Noboby since had the foreign policy perspective Nixon had, Nixon and Kissinger were flawless in all their foreign endeavors. He was not an idealogue like the neo-cons but an enlightened conservative who even gave the libs a few bones on the domestic front OSHA & the EPA.

This is right up Obama's alley. Huge mistake for McCain to go up against a dynamic speaker like Obama. I wonder if McCain will wear a earpiece like W and have Rove feed him his answers.
Dynamic speaker? He copies everything off of past speeches not his own... Duh
