Note To Anyone Considering a FFB Trade with PO69 - Don't Do What I Did

Hey guys, I didn't see where this thread had been sent to so sorry I couldn't chime in.

First of all, I understand completely if both me and PO69 are booted from the league. What happened isn't fair and I apologize for being involved.

Second, I didn't do it with any intentions of cheating anybody or the league. Like I've said all along, I just thought I was being nice. I've never done an NFL fantasy league before and didn't think it to be a big deal. I'll openly admit to being a sucker.

Finally...PO, you piece of shit...I offered a trade back weeks ago. You know it, you're just lying about it.

And like others have said...just because I hadn't used Clark at that point doesn't mean I wasn't going to use him later.


Anyway...sorry again guys for giving this scammer an advantage in the league. I really didn't think about the consequences of my approving his proposal. I got no gain out of it (and instead just a pretty significant loss) and regret that it happened. Lesson learned for me.

ASK anyone else if I asked to trade back players. I made around 20-30 trade offers in the past 3 weeks including 3 or 4 to you and never stated the same thing.

I sent that message to you immediately after accepting the trade and I *know* you would have seen it because the website alerts us to trade moves.

I also know you saw my trade proposal for returning Clark back to me for that same reason.

Furthermore, I said something to you when earlier this week you tried to scam me some more by giving me Cutler (a shit QB when I already have one for my best RB, Steven Jackson).

Well, if we boot one or both, then their upcoming opponents over next six weeks unduly benefit.

The commish has power to take over one or both teams to assure that full lineups are on field each week, which could overcome that problem.

Were the players traded back?? Of course not!

Roy Williams for Dallas Clark was not that bad of a trade at that time in the season! No one knew that he was going to tank thus far this season and he was NOT INJURED at that time. Also, of course he had 2 of the best TE's in the league! I gave him a starting WR for one of his bench guys.

I just started read this thread. Had no idea this was going on in my own division! (I'm Vick in the Box BTW). Crazy stuff.

I agree. I've never heard of "borrowing" players for a week. I've played for a long time and have never had anyone ask me that in many leagues.

The more I thought about it, to me, that's pretty clear cut.

Reminds me of a story I just read today.

A story in the local paper had a ex-FSU player and current assistant coach at a local high school, wear a ski mask, with a gun, walk into a convenience store to rob it.

A police report said a man wearing black clothing and gloves and a white mask entered a Check ‘n Go store in the 8600 block of South Old Kings Road shortly before 7 p.m. Oct. 30. He pointed what looked like a shotgun at the clerk and demanded the money in the register.

The robbery ended when the man asked for the contents of the safe. The clerk told the gun-wielding intruder that she’d have to call a manager to get the safe open, the report said.
