Actually, Northcoast is about as honest as it gets. If you happen to call their Comp Lines everyday during the football season he generally tells it like it is. I listened to the man many time last year on Sunday morning telling everyone about their horrendous Saturday. A couple of days I thought he was close to offing himself.
With that being said, he runs a business and is a marketing genious. They are low key and put out a ton of great information. His pre-season magazine for college is one of, if not, the best in the country. Year after year he does a great job of picking the Top 25 compared to year end and the rest of the magazines.
I have suscribed to their newsletter simply because it gives a great deal of information. As for the people who have said he gives out both sides of a game, I have personally never come acorss that in some 13 years. I think a few years back they may have published some "system" plays that contridicted their write-up but they make it clear that the side they write up is the side they are on.
To me the only things they are gui;ty of is complaing about bad luck when they lose and going through the laundry list of what went wrong in a particular game. Hell, if I won every game I thought I should of one I would not being spending me time contributing to this forum. I take that back, I actually would contrinbute more because of all my free time.
Anyway, Northcoast, take them or leave them, but I would definitely call them honest.
Best of luck to all.
