Actually, Northcoast is about as honest as it gets. If you happen to call their Comp Lines everyday during the football season he generally tells it like it is. I listened to the man many time last year on Sunday morning telling everyone about their horrendous Saturday. A couple of days I thought he was close to offing himself.

With that being said, he runs a business and is a marketing genious. They are low key and put out a ton of great information. His pre-season magazine for college is one of, if not, the best in the country. Year after year he does a great job of picking the Top 25 compared to year end and the rest of the magazines.

I have suscribed to their newsletter simply because it gives a great deal of information. As for the people who have said he gives out both sides of a game, I have personally never come acorss that in some 13 years. I think a few years back they may have published some "system" plays that contridicted their write-up but they make it clear that the side they write up is the side they are on.

To me the only things they are gui;ty of is complaing about bad luck when they lose and going through the laundry list of what went wrong in a particular game. Hell, if I won every game I thought I should of one I would not being spending me time contributing to this forum. I take that back, I actually would contrinbute more because of all my free time.

Anyway, Northcoast, take them or leave them, but I would definitely call them honest.

Best of luck to all.

He does use 2 Star plays but they are usually for National TV games. Once again, it is all about marketing. He has a 2 Star play on the Monday Night NFL game every week (generally the side)and then he does 2 Stars on "special" games....like some college or pro games during Thanksgiving, maybe the lates season NFL Saturday games, NFL playoff games and college games not on Saturday. Callit what you will, but it is a business. People want to play and he has a following.

Follow his plays on this board and then call his Comp Line (they have a local number in most major cities), you will see they tell it like it is. Besides the whinning when they lose it is on the up and up.

I used a lot of services when I was young and foolish and he is one of the very few I have any respect for. I always pay attention to his top play in college but that is about it.

thanks stone cold they are 5-1 on their pre-season star rated plays. This seems to be a popular thread 1259 views, hope they can keep it up this weekend.

They are not 5-1 on star rated plays. They are 4-2.

2* KC 8/4 Void
3* NE 8/7 Win
3* TB 8/8 Win
3* Indy 8/9 Win
3* Clev 8/9 Loss
3* Balt 8/9 Loss
2* Philly 8/11 Win

Last night San Fran was their "play of the day". Another great marketing tool to do business.

Yes, the lines are moving but not like they have the past several years.

5Team, thanks for the update. Play of the day or Late Phone, it is hard to keep track sometimes. Good luck to all following NC.
