Is this going to be one of those things that gets talked about and creates some excitement, but never actually gets done? Reminds me of the U.S. States contest that apparently fell through for whatever reason. Lot of excitement and interest for that one, if I remember correctly.

Raj, it's much harder than it looks coordinating many people over a posting forum, to all be on the same page, especially when they are not here 24/7.

We're all of Indian descent, none of us are actually IN India currently. Not sure if they even have internet yet in the motherland.

Format to be something like 8 players in a Team, 2 players selected for any one days event with $200 to stake on their choices, totals to be accumulative. Considering how many Canadians want to play, maybe they should have their own Team and I nominate Sal as Captain.

Seeing I just got in and saw this thread, count me in for USA.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, if there are enough poeple to fill two teams (from each country) why not do it?

I have given this plenty of thought, thats why I posted the Calendar of Events which gives action every Saturday and Sunday also Golf and Tennis Midweek from August to Christmas, which I think is long enough. 8 Players is enough to control and My suggestion is the Captains put forward 2 players for each days event with $200 to bet whichever way they want, all profits and losses accumulated. If we can organise this before 20th July, we can kick-off with The Open.
