One thing I would do is to post your record in your subject title of your threads like I did in the title to this reply post. It lets people see how great you are doing and they will be more likely to check out your play for the day. Otherwise, they don't recognize your name and to be honest there are some really great cappers here that do very well for people. Folks jump on and check out those threads and jump off not meaning to offend anyone.

5-1 and you aren't getting replies? I went 120-80 in NCAAB and I didn't get any attention. Kapusta got 5k hits a day and he ended the season around 52%. Kapusta was one of the big name posters going into the season, so he recieved a lot more attention. You have to be a mediocre gambler and you have to post for a couple of years to get attention. All of the big name posters for the MLB are down like 10-40 units this season.

Or you have to pull stunts like this...or post locks, big unit plays, bump your own thread, and generally talk a big game.

And levi, FYI, just because people didn't post in your CBB threads doesn't mean they weren't looking. You underestimate the amount of lurkers and people signed up who don't post anything. I'd say there are just about or less than 200 posters who actually contribute on a semi-regular basis...but there are thousands who navigate the forum on a daily basis that only watch and never post a word.

This topic always baffles me. Unless you're planning on going tout or trying to get paid somehow, who the fuck cares how much attention you receive on here? Does it really matter? If you need a buncha guys you don't know to e-pat you on the back, you have much more serious issues to deal with.
