I love this idea. If you actually PAY income tax then you can vote.

Why should people who pay no money in but actually are the ones on the receiveing end have any say in where the money is going? of course they are going to say they should receive more of other peoples money!!

People who dont work need to have the right to vote because it would effectively punish any married person who opts to stay at home and raise the kids and that isnt right, it would significantly reduce the woman vote and would function as a sexist law. Wackos get to vote because the Founding Fathers whole point was that every viewpoint gets a vote and a say not just those the majority views as reasonable or correct. Once you start preventing people from voting based on there ideas or political knowledge your going down a very slippery slope to abuse of the system.

I think there should be some mandatory conditions for voting to weed out the wackos.

2) All the states completely south of the Mason Dixon line & east of the Mississippi should vote for free

3) All other citizens must pay $100 to vote.

This is much more fair than the system that now exists.

I started the " Only tax payers should be allowed to vote" weeks ago.

Otherwise the nonpayers will partake in rent seeking from the payers. That is basically what is happeneing today, and what Obama proposes in the future. Higher taxes for payers, and more handouts for non-payers.

Why should the 18 year old college gal who never worked a day in her life be voting on how we run our country?

Why should the 32 year old in and out of jail former drug dealer guy be voting on how we run the country?
