<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>I am so sick and tired of these obese fat bastards suing because they cant push their fat asses away from the table. Same as with these idiots who have someone in their family die of cancer due to smoking and then feel the need to sue the tobacco companies.
EVERYONE knows this stuff is shit and bad for you.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>I agree. And I'm one of those obese fat bastards. But I've never blamed anyone other than myself and working 80-100 hours a week for me being that way. Lost 40 pounds since the start of the year, 160 more and I'll only be slightly overweight (yes, I -REALLY- am that fat now, BMI was over 50 when I started).

Where is the outrage on this? I mean shit we can drive the biggest damn SUVs as our "commute car" and many in Congress will fight for our right to to that, but if you want to eat the biggest fries you can get someone is out to put a stop to that??? This is ridiculous, I can't believe the fast food places couldn't find some people to tell this asswipe "nutrition Nazis" to shut up. If the automakers can quash any mention of increases in mileage requirements, how come the powerful food and restaurant lobby can't do the same?

And don't laugh about the suits against offshores, there are serious lawyers looking for casinos and states to sue for gambling addictions. They are going to claim once a gambler "clearly" had an addiction, the casino and/or lottery should have stopped selling their product to them and therefore all losses after their addiction kicked in should be refunded with a penalty fine slapped onto it for even daring to continue taking these people's money.

and mcdonalds only seems to have the unhealthy items bundled/packaged/promoted/stuck in your face.

MC D's actually does a decent job of promoting healthy items. however; to get a comparable caloric intake (you know, so I'm 'full') as a qaurter pounder and fries it will cost me 2 to 3 times more.

The healthier items are'nt as convient to eat, either. There is a big difference between grabing fries while you are trying to drive or eating a salad/fruit coctail/or whatever T.F. with a fork.

I do not have this problem at the supermarket. I can spend a lot and eat like crap or i can spend a lot and eat healthy. its all in what you decide.

so yes mcdonalds, you are right. i can eat "healthy" at your restaurant. it just isnt as convient or cost effective. and here in lies the problem, so please save that "you can eat healthy here" b.s. becuase you know damn well when youre in a hurry the healthy items tottaly defeat the purpose of fast food.

No , the fact that you aren't out there suing everyone means that you are not "one of them"

Just because someone is overweight does not make them a "fat bastard". I did not mean to offend with that comment. There are obviously other reasons for people to be overweight, maybe they have other conditions which do not allow exercise or medications they take.....

Wow, the American public must really be quite unintelligent. The simple answer is stop eating sh*t, get some exercise and you will be fine; rather than 200 pounds overweight. Moderation is the key here rather than the “health conscious” executives at McDonalds making such a far-reaching decision. The American diet is terrible, to be honest when can one go out to eat, and consume a healthy meal containing all the food groups? It is pretty much impossible. Secondly this anti-carb crap is one of the worst things one can do for their bodies, carbs are required for proper metabolic function. Without them your body starts to atrophy and consume your own organs.

Gee, no more super-sizes.
I guess we'll all have to go back to ordering TWO sandwiches, like we used to.

Just eat artery clogging fat all day and the pounds just melt away.

I am waiting for a restaurant to offer just a big plate of deep fried grizzle and fat on a piece of lettuce

Is there anyone else who thinks of those numbers in relation to those months? If so, my checkbook is all wrong.

Mr NJ Sports...in response to your original question: it's a coincidence. Just like saying they chose Sept. 11 (aka 9-11) because it's our code for calling for an emergency. Of course, I don't think like a terrorist.

In relation to the months it doesn't match. But the prefixes to the words is what I was curious about.
