Blaming the MJ for the accident is like blaming the gun for the shooting. It all comes down to personal responsibility. I don't touch the stuff cause I don't like how it feels, but think anyone should be able to do it if they want. If one drives high there should be consequences for that.

the stuff that hits the black market in Cali has generally been rejected by the high end dispensaries due to mold, mites or other issues

vegas dispensaries still behind Cali in terms of overall quality, price and selection but def some high quality available

the largest place off the strip in Vegas has a Khalifa Kush that is their signature strain which is pretty bomb but often sold out

but every one of the stores is offering at least 30+ different strains of different quality, thc (or cbd) content etc

Once you are in the store, unless you go to a medical express window (where you don’t get to see, smell etc) they don’t even know who is medical vs rec until you are checking out and they apply the tax etc

i think biggest issue with the whole deal is edibles with the delayed effect combined with people who have low tolerance and not enough knowledge about dosage

I want some oger 99 or some shit. Some 24% thc medical fire. All the shit i get is from some of the best growers in cali. But I can imagine medical shops turn away stuff they don't see as quality. But I'm telling you.....you may not know what is recreational until you are paying....but that's a problem.

I just went to a las vegas weed website and it says "we have medical and recreational." They may not tell you. Or you may think it's all the same lol but it's definitely 100% not all grown the same way. Top shelf or nothing for me.

you don't have a clue.

Hm. Interesting.

Everybody is just stoked to smoke legally. And all that is going to happen is more recreational weed. Do you honestly think they are growing 30 strains of medical which takes months to grow properly? Lol no. They grow it differently to accelerate the process. Spray chemicals on it and shit. Especially with the entire state of California able to smoke withiout a card lmfao do u really think everything is really medical? Think dipshit.

Out of those 30 strains I will bet you 8 are top shelf. And out of those 8, 4 or 5 are legit. That's not a guess either.

Most people think they are smoking medical when they aren't. That attitude has been going on before medical shops even existed. Every single time though their "medical" is trash. Every strain is medical to people..weed is just weed.

What Is Recreational Marijuana?
Recreational marijuana is pot that is used without medical justification. Recreational marijuana usually has more THC content than the medicinal variety, as this is what provides users with a “high.”

When I say the word recreational I am talking about the actual process of the weed grown. The process of it.

I am not talking about oh recreationally now we can go smoke weed. The word is used in two different manners here. That's probably where some of the confusion is.

I didn't know it had more thc. But the trichomes factor and cbd content is all going to be higher in medical. Plus most importantly like it states above.....recreational weed is not treated the same as medical. Not the same justification. Whether they all sell it to everyone or not just means you better know what is good and what isn't. And anything that is even a hint of recreationally grown i don't want it.

All strains can be grown in different ways. Not even talking about the small things you can do to change the outcome of the product. But for example you take some grape ape and grow it medically and proper. It's going to be fire. Now, when you get that recreational grape ape....you're going to cough your fucking brains out. Then your throat will be burning. All from some chemically grown modified weed. Enjoy. You may not knoe until you hit it. But, that's what happens. When yall think everything is the same and start coughing up a storm, you'll realize everything isn't the same anymore. Should had listened to when Mob tried to tell me about how awful and misleading recreational weed is. Yeah I know nothing

Most of you have no idea what you’re taking about lol. 90% of the cannabis in clubs is garbage. If you grow craft cannabis, why would you ever take it to a shop? Not to mention, most of the people selling to the shops have big operations, thousands of hoods. I’ll go with the guy that has 25-100 lol. It has become all about the money, forget the patients. California dropped the ball bigtime. Thank everyone who wanted 64. All the taxes and regulations are going to push people back to the black market.

It’s just a shame, all the greedy politicians spent years making money by locking people up. Now these fuckers want to come in and take over. Fuck em. You can count on someone to post studies that fit their agenda and argument, that have no idea what they’re talking about. Size 15

Yeah. And If I was a grower in cali I'd be trying to find a connect on the east coast. You would be paid 4x you would by offing your fire to the east coast rather than to a local despensary. So some of the best growers out there don't even bother because they know that high grade piff is worshipped on the e.c.

Now if you are into the concentrates and shit....you'll probably find the best shatter on the west coast at shops

I have mixed feelings about legalization. I think there are definitely some positive aspects, but I also weigh that against the
fact that many of the people I know that have been smoking pot most of their lives have not been over-achieving, highly
successful people... It hasn't been a positive influence on their lives. But, I guess you can make the analogy with alcohol,
that many people can and do drink responsibly - and some become alcoholics, and it destroys their lives.

I personally don't like weed - can't even remember the last time I even took a hit so it's at least over a year ago - about half my friends smoke weed everyday - of all my friends that smoke only one is financial/jobwise successful

People act like legalization has no downsides, and it's this huge win/win. 20% of women under the age of 24 smoke pot while pregnant (and that figure is only going to rise):

Another area of concern is pregnancy. Many pregnant women suffer from morning sickness. But the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology recommends against using marijuana while pregnant – no matter what.
And the Centers for Disease Control warns that “marijuana use during pregnancy can be harmful to your baby’s health.” Why? The CDC points to research showing low birth weight in infants, along with developmental and attention problems in children born to mothers who smoke pot regularly during pregnancy.
Unfortunately, pot smoking among pregnant women is on the rise and it is bound to rise even more. A study just released from Kaiser Permanente in California and published in the Journal of the American Medical Association revealed that 7 percent of pregnant women surveyed smoked pot, including almost 20 percent of those below the age of 24. The number of pregnant women using marijuana will only increase now that recreational marijuana is legal in California.
When it comes to adolescents and adults, long-term marijuana use has been associatedwith decreased school and job performance, memory loss, and psychiatric disorders including anxiety and depression.

Yeah but being legal has no effect on use - if someone wants weed they will have it in less than 30 mins - probably takes longer waiting in the store line

That depends on how much u smoke. If u do nothing else but smoke u may become paranoid and be unable to accomplish anything. But, weed may be the only thing in the world you can intake too much of and the only real negative downfall is all of the easy accessible food will be gone and you fall asleep. It actually helps with anxiety and depression.

You would be surprised to know how many people you know who smoke before work. People you would least expect.

Even if it is bad for you, any argument against it being legal is basically an argument alcohol shouldn't be legal. Since alcohol is way worse for you.

I don't think this would apply to America because we have a huge underclass but in the right societal structure I think every drug should be legal. This would ruin the black market and make treatment much easier. But I don't think it would work in this country.
