I had Jax -2.5...therefore thinking I at least had a chance in OT. I'm just gonna go ahead and start drinking now and maybe I'll be drunk by the time I lose all of the 3 o'clock games!........
SD+7 losing 21-7
Ariz +15.5 losing 21-3
SF +7, SF ov45....losing 14-7
I gotta vent too! I've lost on some freak plays but this is an all-timer! As unbelievable as that TD was - sure looked like the first lateral was forward - my initial thought was I still had a chance to win in OT. Then for Carney to gag the extra point - Like I said... an all-timer!!
let's not forget saints would've more than likely scored with a first and goal on the one foot line on their previous drive had the ref not CLEARLY f--ed-up the pass interference call!
I didn't see anyone mention it, but does this mean I was the only one on the wrong side of both this freak play and the music city miracle a few years back? Wow, deja vu.
Was on the unlucky side also in the Jax game, but also got a gift win on Detroit so I don't feel too bad. Really did look like a forward lateral. Was at the local pub and couldn't hear what the announcers had to say about it.
ASUSunDevil - I'm with you. I thought that first pass was forward to. It deinitely wasn't a backward pass. I guess a pass that is even (not back or forward) is OK.

quote:
considering all the other great games to choose from....Rams, Carolina, Cowboys, Pitt, and Seattle. I'm not saying they would all cover but I like those teams

When beats like that happen (fortunately for me I at least got Jax -1), best to look at the whole picture. The Saints got jobbed on the previous drive (replay official blew it, s/h/b PI or def holding). That would've been 1st and goal, so they probably would've gotten the TD anyway.
Oh, but then there was that missed chip-shot FG by Marler that would've iced it....never mind!
