I'd call this one hell of a smart recruiting ploy.

Nothing more.

He knows he can't ignore it, so he gets his participation out of the way with an innocent / non offensive march

I'm OK with that

Yep genius chess move. Gets out ahead of it. Media will adore it, and he can always point back to it as a default defense to the unavoidable future accusation of racism.

The racism demand far exceeds the supply

AdamSmithFuego couldnt have said it better.

The Racism business is booming, money and power at stake.

Watch out for Freshman QB Bryce Young. He's the 2nd coming of Russell Wilson!! (shameless plug. His dad and I are buds. I knew this boy since he was a baby)

I absolutely get it but I think people basically realize this stuff isn't going anywhere and "Ahh well, Saban gotta do it cause the climate so just pay lip service to it" basically means "That's my rational so I can keep watching because I don't feel like boycotting sports I really like."

It's cool, but seems rather transparent.

This sounds like something Clay Travis would say and think it is witty. And people who don't want to talk about culture, identity and how they're going to be the dominant themes of politics for the foreseeable future basically just nod in agreement.

edit: ok yeah he copied Clay Travis, jesus dude get your own takes

That sounds awesome, like something a Republican consultant would say. But actually no, the demand for identity politics is really, really high. As it is going to be in a multi-racial/ethnic society the minute everything doesn't function as it is supposed to. With a dwindling majority on pace to become majority-minority.

(Open to rebuttals on this but think it is pretty cut and dry if we're being honest)

Pretty cool, especially if there are a few perks :)

good for Saben, another sheep added to the list. if this clown wasn’t coaching, he would be off in his boat far away from the blacks.

Enfuego is not bright. He continues to basically plagiarize Clay Travis as though an Idea coming from himself is too difficult.
