Seems almost like a lose/push prop to go with Pavano. Clemens will be zoned in with this being his last game and would never let Pavano get a hit. Clemens on the other hand, should have at least one more at bat that Pavano, most likely two and being his last game, he might be just pumped up enough to eek out a hit.

Schenley,
10/22/2003 7:20 PM Player first at bat shootout only will be If player records a base on balls, player is graded as 0 total bs.Both players must start game for action.Total bs are Single=1base,Double=2bs Triple=3bs,HR=4bs.Hits Only.Any scoring changes made after Both Players 1st AB's has no effect on wager.

Like I said earlier, the sample size is simply too small to cap this statistically. This would be equivalant to saying Kevin Maas would break Aaron's HR record after his 10 HR's in his first month. The data doesn't serve much use. In fact, Clemens in 0-6 with 2 K's in the post season. Does that matter? no, of course not. Clemens was 2-4 one year, if you take that year out then he was 2 for 16 ~.125 BA. Does that matter? nope.
